    Ciao!

I do not think I can honestly say I'm 100% where I would like to be but I'm hope full that I will be in the future so I try not to dwell on the past. Thanks for the kind words. I hope you have an awesome weekend!!!! icon_smile.gif

  2. Hi Raphael and Predator. I'm sorry I did not see your posts sooner. I'm not online as much lately because I like to spend more time outside during the summer. How are you guys doing? icon_smile.gif

I do appreciate your interest but I really hope you can understand that I would prefer to keep my pictures private at this point. I'd really like to look forward not backwards.

I hope you both are doing great!!! Best of luck with everything!!! icon_smile.gif

    Jason,

I really respect this type of attitude towards your patients. I have been speaking with Janna a bit while researching some FUE work and it is this type of attitude (among other things) that makes me feel very encouraged about Dr Shapiro. icon_smile.gif

  4. Spex,

I was just looking through your examples again. The FUE jobs you did of 400-700 grafts caught my eye. 1 filled in a gap for the patient. That really caught my eye. The other added to the temple area which I had not seen before. These cases definitely have me intrigued. In such small cases do you still have all the major forehead swelling that you would have with a mega strip session? What would you estimate the downtime recuperating is on a 500-1000 graft FUE session?

  5. It is really disappointing when anybody invests so much money, time and hope in to a procedure and they come away with either no results or a set of new problems. I totally understand your feelings but I hope you can try not to let it bother you too much. You said you felt fine before reading this board. Please keep in mind often pictures can be misleading. Some hair transplants look good in pictures but very see through in person. I hope you get back to feeling good again. icon_smile.gif

I dont have the answers to your questions but I wanted to add 1 more question to your thread about FUE.

Is there 1 FUE doctor that is considered the best for filling in gaps? The only doctor I have heard of for something like that is Dr Feller and his postage stamp FUE. That has me curious for sure but I was curious if any other doctors specialized in the placement of small fue jobs.

  7. Hey Azza!

I'm really glad you are still getting a lot of stubbles at the 8th month mark. That is good news! I hope they sprout really well for you!! I think all the hair that was going to grow for me grew in by the 6th-7th month.

I'm sorry you still have see through areas. I personally understand your frustration with that. I'm considering doing something to fix my own gaps. I wish you the best of luck with everything. Good growing for you!

  8. Thanks so much for the replies. 1500 was probably way too much for what I am researching. I was just trying to keep my research broad enough to get a good sample size. 400-900 probably would have been a better guesstimate.

I have always heard about Dr Feller via his FUE so I will definitely click on the links you provided for me Spex.

I hope everybody has an awesome holiday weekend!!!!!

  9. I'm interested in learning about Dr Feller and Dr Shapiro's smaller FUE cases. Instead of searching hundreds of blogs and pictures can anyone tell me what they consider some good FUE results for these 2 doctors? I realize Dr Shapiro is relatively new to FUE so I understand if he does not have a lot of results yet. I'm specifically interested in the smaller cases not mega sessions. Lets say like 400-1500 grafts. Thanks in advance. icon_smile.gif

  10. Many people especially on these boards do try to educate themselves as much as possible before a HT. I don't think anyone goes in to a HT thinking they will get a see threw HT or gappy HT. I do not think that is how HT's are presented to prospective patients. If you look at the website pictures you probably will not see pictures of patients with see through hair or gaps. I do not think it is fair to assume that all people that end up with see through hair or gappy hair after a bad HT did not try very hard to educate themselves before their HT.

I totally understand. I'm sorry you are feeling this way. Have you seen your scar at a #1? Some scars heal much better than others. Some you cant see at a #2 so maybe yours will be OK at a #1.

Spex I have much respect for you and Dr Feller but I do agree with Max here. I have seen this done before and it always raises a red flag with me. I think permission for anybody to to post a patients pictures should be granted before they are posted.

    LMS,

You are welcome. It was not only you. I think we have mostly guy posters on the board so it is understandable. icon_smile.gif

    Chantal,

I really hope your HT turns out great for you! icon_smile.gif
