  1. Please see my HT from Dr Venkataram Mysore as described in the above posts here... http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/showthread.php?t=144151 These are 7 months post OP pictures.
  2. Thanks badger_01.....Yes I am thrilled with the results. I started minox and fines 1 week after the HT. I started seeing results in less than 2 weeks of time. After that it started improving drastically.
  3. Hi folks.....After having benefitted by this awesome community, I went in for a HT from Dr.Venkataram Mysore in Nov 2007. He has a clinic in Bangalore, India. I did research on him quite a bit and also went to his clinic and saw his patient's testimonials and photographs. I was impressed and went ahead with the HT...1700 FU's and tranplanted only to the frontal portion. I am currently on Minox and Finpecia and am very impressed to see new hairs (crown and all round)and thickening of native hairs. Also the quality, texture and color of the native hair has significantly improved. Please see my pre-op and post-op (7 months) fotos and let me know your feedback on the quality of work. I know quite a lot of new comers to this forus have been asking questions about Dr.Venkataram and I made some time today to upload the fotos. Hope this benefits people wanting to find more on this doc. Thanks a lot...
  4. For guys wondering what medications to take, I had my HT 2 weeks back and am on Finpecia since then and from last 1 week I even started applying TuGain hair oil (product from Cipla) that has 5% Minox. I am very happy to see improvements of hairs thickening. I dont know whether it's due to Finpecia or Minox.....and luckily no side effects noticed. FYI, In India, Finpecia costs around $1 for a strip of 10 tablets and TuGain costs around $7-$8 a bottle that lasts 1 month.
  5. Thanks a lot for your advice and the link was very informative too. I still have this concern. Though there is no blood with the hair shedding, I can see many of them with a tissue kind of a thing attached. Are these uprooted grafts by any chance?
  6. Bill, please advice me. I have 2 questions. It's been 2 weeks since I had my HT. 1.There is a good amount of flaky crust built up in the grafted area and when I try to feel and rub them gently with my fingers many of the grafted hairs seem to just come off easily. These hairs seem to have a thick root kind of a thing attached at one end. Is this just the crust or the root itself is coming off? Please advice. I hope the roots would be intact after 2 weeks. 2. How do I clean the grafted area and what is earliest time before all the grafted hairs fall off?
  7. Please look at my pictures and let me know if the HT looks good. This was done by Dr.Venkataram at Bangalore. 1700 grafts.
