  5. I am basically from India and My hair loss problem started 2 years back.As you know, being from India, the quality of reputed doctors are very less,(in the field of dermatology)so each one offer's a different take on the reasons for my hair loss!! I know i am too young for a HT(22),but at least i would like to know the proper reason for my Hair loss and the curiosity to know about it, is,even more,as there is no known case of hair loss in my family history!! So , i would be really grateful, if you guys could point out "Reputed" Dermatologists in Manchester or nearby cities. If there are none,i would like you to point out the same in the area of London. Is Dr,feller a dermatologist?I have attached few photos of mine,so that you guys could in your personal experience ,could tell me is it mpb or dupa!! Looking forward to your reply!!

  9. venkat ,ur experincing what most of the nri experince and is their worst nightmare, indian people are not accustomed to the u.s water has it has lot of chemicals mixed in it.it happens to the majority of them, for most of them like in your case it returns back to normal when they come back from u.s anyways i suggest you to visit a dermatologist just in case to rule out any otyher cause,as the opinions stated above are as of my own and not a medical advice.
  10. yes, lara is right ,10 tablets come around 95cents and they are manufactured by cipla @lara i did use it for considerable amount of time, but the side effects of low ejaculations were bothering me,so i kinda stopped it,and currently only on minoxidil 5%,i just want to c how effective is minxoidil alone and if it isnt that much of use,i guess i would switch back to finpecia(of course along with minoxidil)
  11. i am sorry mate, i dont quite get ya,alli did was the free testosterone test and the result came back normal.what do i have to do now?
  12. hey there, finpecia works jsut fine , you just need it to give some time say 4 - 6 months time and again it varies from individual to individual.you have nothing to worry about it ,as they are manufactured by a reputed indian pharmeutical company and in India they dont care a damn abt the u.s patent laws. so you can go ahead buy them, but the only problem ,as lara had mentioned, you need to buy it from a very reliable source, especially if your booking through the net.
  13. hey what is the differnce betwn a testosterone test and free testosteorne test?well i took up the latter test and my results are normal.do i still need to take up the former test to detrmine whther my hair loss is due to dht?
  14. hey, i was just wonderin is there a way to find out whether ur blood carries excess dht levels or not??(well obvsly d symptom would be hair loss)but apart from that does testosterone test help in finding it out?
  15. hey , i am suffering from diffused thinning, the problem is i dont have any stable cause for this hair loss,in d sense,i did take up a testosterone test and my hair loss is not due to dht, both the sides of my family dont suffer from any hair loss problems and no ones bald.when i consulted couple of doctors they all say its nutrient deficincy and subscribed me tablets, but i don find any improvements as its been more then 1 year.everything from my sugar level to blood cell counts and even glyceride tests seem normal, could there be any other cause t? P.s- i am really short temperd person, could this cause or contribute to any hair loss?if so has anybody experinced it and how bad can it be?
