Does Propencia (Finasteride) also work for hairloss at the temples?

I have started taking Finasteride for 1 week and I am experiencing lots af hairloss. This is not a good feeling, since I am taking the drug to grow hair, not lose it.

However I have been reading that this is quite normal.

Male pattern hairloss: Does this only relate to the crown?

So the question remains, does it help for hairloss at the temples.. ?

I am also freaking out.. I just started using it (one week) and every time i take s shower I can see that I am shedding a ridiculous amount of hair... I am 29 years old.

Just cant adjust my mindset to believing that losing hair is good for my hair growth?

Also I would like to know if taking the drug will affect muscle growth?

I go to the gym 2-3 days a week and I do not want to lose any muscle?
