I'm 25 and always had a thick head of hair. About 2 years ago I started noticing some "temple recession". It hasn't gotten much worse in the last two years. I think I might be thinning on my crown...not sure yet if it's my imagination. I noticed some hair falling out when I was washing my hair the other day so I got Provillus (yes I got scammed in my haste) and Rogaine foam. Family history: Paternal grandfather - bald crown, father bald crown...all uncles and maternal grandfather...horse shoe. The only difference is...they were all bald by the time they were my age. Regardless, I'm pretty sure I have the curse. I'm thinking I'll slow it as much as I can until I need hair transplant surgery, not sure if this is the most logical. I know everything works different on everyone but what have you all noticed that really slows the thinning? The magic question right? How much does hair transplant surgery cost (average? I know it varies). Any help with be greatly appreciated.
