  3. Thanks Hairbank You re right that wiser to get a bigger session...however and again for people which are having a progressive balding; i t s hard to wait too much to make big session.. you re always caught in the middle. Not Waiting enough makes it impossible to have a big ession, since there is still hair; waiting too much makes it visible the previous HT... WHAT TO DO then ??? Besides, i didn t get what u said avvording the number of HT. In the case yo have 10000 donor hair. will you be able to do indifereenlty 10 times FUT of 1000 ; or 5 times FUT of 2000 or is there a mximum of excision that your scalp can tolerate ? Thanks Last thing : Besides the fact that i used once minoxydil and when i stoped it i felt like i lost a lot more of hairs; and while using it i didn t feel any better progress... Will it be the same with finasteride...? i mean if i wanted to make a try for one year to see if there s any diofference and at the end don t wanna take it anymore...are the consequence the same as minoxydil..when you stop it s even worse ? Thanks for you all...
  4. Well, thanks Mrjb and thanks Hairbank In fact, no the doc, doesnt require me to shave head. And in fact , my question was oriented to a specidif case. In fact, i need to travel abroad for this HT, and in this same country, i have family and friends...However i ll be ther only up to 3 days after HT; and i wanted to know if it will be possible to see them there before flying back, without them noticing the HT (even if i have to wear a cap it will be ok in fact; my concern is more about the oedema -> does it HAVE to occur ? is it in relation to the number of grafts , the more you have HT, the more change you have to develop an oedema ? ) Besides, As i see that you both have had 3HT; i was wonderning, were those taken on the same places (i mean havin only on scar ?) As i ve heard it s possible.. oR do you have it on different places ? Besides that are the scar on the back different from the one on the sides (less painful ? etc..) And least how many can you ? Does it depend on the amount you already taken ? Say, if you have a potential of 10 000 hairs that you can HT... Does it mean that you could theroically make 10 HT of 1000 each...or is there a limit to HT beside the potential of hair ? Thanks a lot for your answers... And hairbank; yes i d like to see you pre and post pictures asap... Good luck for you all. mike
  5. Hi Guys, I was wondering if the after effect (Post HT) are different from one person to another...(like oedema etc..) It is possible to prevent it as most as possible ? As i would like to go visit people 1 or 2 day after the HT but rather not tell them ;-) Besides that, the funny question, the staples do buzz when going through airport security or not ? this is embarassing especially if you re with relatives whom are not aware about it ? Do you have any tricks for that ? Thanks.

  7. Hi truthseeker; Well i also feel for your situation and concern... unfortunately i can not give any better advice that what has been posted here by "veteran" of this site.. however i just wanted to tell you that i wish you the best for your forecoming decision, hoping it will be the best option for you. As for doctors advices , i don t really understand the concept of saying : you have only 1 HT left... If a guy A has made 3 HT of 300 grafts each and a guy B has made 1 HT of 900 grafts. Does it mean that A guy has only one more HT, and B guy can have another 2 ? What is the mandatory field here ? the donor area ? the number of HT... I m in the case of A guy ?!:! Thanks for providing info....
  8. I agree with NervousNelly, and will add... May be we can help you better in decision if you describe a little bit more your case, situation, pictures etc... Good luck...
  9. hi ahlender, Well it remeinds me of someone, 10 years ago :-) In fact, 10 years ago i really didn t neet any HT...However i was so obsessed by thinning etc..that i finally made the step !! At that time there were no other medecins except of Minoxidil...Today with Rogaine and Finasteride, it seems that one can have better result... Nevertheless, once u get into HT, then especially in a case of receding it s going to get u into a spiral of non stop filling in every "x" year...Not to talk about shock loss... If i was in your situation again, i d probably, use vitamin and medecine appropriate to try to control/stop loss... keep the money in saving plan...and see how thing are doing in one year or so... Dont forget, your case is different than a case of a Bald Spot NW4,NW5 or more... Those latter know what they don t have and what they can fill.. You don t know yet what u don t have..since u still have it (and i hope u ll keep it too :-) ) Good luck in your research... Wish u best.
  10. Hey Guys !!! Cuando I ve seen so muchas post, 'Hashavti, que habian some news a propocito de HT Be Eretz Israel Did i miss Mashu
  11. Thanks JoeTronic; Yes i ve already seen your detailed sites... Congrats it s well documented... You scared me a bit by telling 3500...i thought 1500-2000 mx... I m a bit anxious for both reason : i ve never had more than 300-400 hundred graft HT (i know it s a really small amount but at the time i did it 9 years ago that was not a small session..I have to admit , that i couldn t have a bigger HT either as i ve had plenty of hair... and i regret having done that at that time :-( However past is behind... If we take into consideration that zone 1 and 2 are HT, but the front Z3 is not, is there a risk by filling in density in Z1 and Z2 that it might trouble the Z3 ? What is the rule (if there is any) according to shock loss in accordance to a zone Non transplanted , and according to HT zone ? Thanks a lot all of you.
  12. Sorry guys of course i meant B spot :-) Thanks for everything... I ll try to update you on what will be going on
  13. Well i guess, i m convinced.. I haven t paid attention to all the pictures... But again...as i said in a previous post -> pictures are not always reflecting reality...as per my photo album... Thanks for all for your opinions and advices..it really helps... Toda Raba la 'Hevre She Medabrim Ivrit :-)
  14. Thanks GSpot NervousNelly was right, i was talking about Standalone HT, just didn t know how to express it :-) Those are really good remarks... And as you said, i think option 2 is best... I guess we should try here to "advertise" on people progressively balding...that if they start surgery they will enter in an infinite loop...rather they should go on medication and wait and see... Nevertheless, your advice sounds good to me...One thing remains though, i m living very far from Dc Shapiro, and having to manage trip+cost etc... twice is for the moment not doable. But as NervousNelly said, you get for what you pay; so i might start saving...maybe HT price will go down in the forecoming month :-) Thanks
  15. Hi Bill, Thanks for taking time to browse through their website... Yes i know that you re right about "You get what u pay for"... And I guess that s what i ll be doing...but since my hair is becoming hard to deal with especially the fact that HT are showing up... i wanted to do that asap. That s also the prob, for people who are anot B spot and try to keep up with there MPB, since their only solution is to catch up every few years...since they still have har..and Doc can not HT on current hair...Whether they wait wait wait and then achieve... thanks anyway for your help.
