  1. Am I entitled to my money back if I get an average result? I may consider a 2nd op with another 1000 grafts to cover the front and get a fuller hairline (which is what I was hoping from the first op)

I was lucky , Hakan was hanging on to being a named Dr on here , since then he's lost it.

Muslin was his rep , he repaid me then left a while after .

Do yourself a favour , do not go back.

As Jean says look at his list plus I'd add Devroye to it , do not rush !

  2. Having had both FUT ( Dr Feller 2007) and FUE ( Dr Hakan 2014) I find this debate a fantastic read , credit to all Drs involved.

One good point I've read is about people not wanting the scar , totally get that but like all aspects of Hair work I think it depends on the surgeon. I have a scar from Dr Feller , Id sooner not have had it or the staples etc and frankly straight post op it looks far worse than fue. Fact.

However , I'm 10 years out....I've been to countless barbers , not one has mentioned it. Ive had short hair with no trouble .I've sweated at the gym , not been noticied. My wife struggles to find it if I ask her to look.

Sometimes I even forget I have it in all honesty , as I said earlier nobody wants a scar but I believe you get an ethical result with strip and a little less gamble than with FUE.

Fue can be wonderful with the right Dr , even though I had a failed result I do believe with the right Dr you can get a good enough result.

If I was considering another HT and needed enough grafts to justify it I'd be very tempted to lean towards FUT again scar or not.

  3. I'll be ten years early next year , i had 1800 grafts into my crown with Dr Feller (hi Spex!).

I do not believe I've lost those hairs which gave me a decent coverage although not dense.

I've since had another 1000 in the crown by Dr Doganay which wasn't such a good end result but by fully commiting to Fin over the last 3 years I've had good regrowth and my hair looks ok / good until greasy or wet.

  4. Sorry to hear this Muslum , you and Didem looked after me very well both before and after my operation with Hakan. If wasnt for your help i wouldnt have got most of my money back from a poor result overall.

I believe once Hakan was a good Dr but it all seems to have gone wrong , i sometimes wish i had gone elsewhere....

  5. As a former Doganay patient I'm not going to jump in and defend him as my result is yet to be seen but I will add a few bits from my own experience.

I spent a few days staying at the clinic and was allowed to watch an op before mine for a brief while , I heard small talk but nothing too bad or distracted ( I can well remember having my HT with Feller and one of his techs having a blazing arguement on the phone with their partner during graft placement then the techs talking about that for 10 minutes while I was sat there thinking Mind my scalp!).

During my stay the 6 or so techs were the same , there also seemed to be one or two ops per day not multiple....its no hair mill thats for sure.

The Dr and his head tech looked at my crown before the op and all the info was translated for me regarding future loss and usage of meds , I got a quote post ops on my hairline , grafts left and fut scar while I was there...I did have to push for the info though...it seems if you don't ask you don't get although everything is in your paperwork.

Dr Hakan speaks broken English but his fluent translaters are always near and really look after you.

There are too many half results at the minute and im still waiting mine but I will say there customer care was 1st class during my stay.
