Dear members, in the prevoius post I was not knowing who this patient is and had no way to analyse or reply. I suggested that here must be grafts in other areas if these do not look like 2400 and I have done 2400 then they must be in other areas as well. Also suggested that some scabs may have fallen off making the grafts look less. Now I know who this person is. I said it may be Shahid and this patient said yes doctor is talking about my case, but he is not the shahid i presumed. With no dates no names false alligations it is difficult to get into my shoes. \

Dear Member, agreed that hassan and yong are a great team and they are leaders in the field. I am not claiming to be as good as Hassan and Wong. I am not charging like Hassan and Wong as well. But I stand that i have done 2400 grafts. Hassan and Wong use costom made blades to implant the grafts. I use stick and place technique. My picture quality may not match the professional approach of Hassan and Wong. I do not have professionas photographers to click every patient. But do let me know if Hassan and Wong get a hair growth before 3 months, this would be against the natural growth cycle in the bodt which is 3 -4 months. Is it not rational to ask the patient to wait for 3-4 months before complaining that here is poor growth? Wait till October, the hair growth has started by now and will grow 1-1.5cm per month, then we will see what we have achived and you may like to appriciate that such good growth comes from only 1400 grafts as you beleive it to be.

Dear Members, unless I could identify who this patient was it was very difficult for me to reply. I am doing 100-120 transplants a year. I see over 200 patients a month. 60 -70% of these grow back 40% of their lost hair with Cyclical Medicine program. The pcs posted by the patient allowed me to compare and find out who this is. Now I can state my sode of the story. See the other views posted in other two of my replies and then pass a judgement on my sicerity, honesty and the care I give to my patients. Wihtout knowing the truth you all have bashed me freely, even criticised my technique? Dear Members, we have been too fast to comment and find mistakes in a doctor without confirming when the transplant was done and the pictures sent are how many days after the procrdure, ask if the patient had some scabs falling off already. I am posting some better size pictures of rt and lt occipital areas. These definetly show more number of grafts. Patient has been under the impression that growth will start immediately. But in all transplant cases growth srarts only after 3-4 months. Your friend is as dear to me as all of you. He will get a good result by October. He will post a satisfied picture in October. Doctors on the network will now sopport my work without any hitch.

Dear Members, the picture posted was a great help to me in knowing who this patient is. I have attached picture taken on 10th day after the transplant. Patients pics are taken few days later when many of the scabs have fallen off giving the impression of less number of grafts. I could not attach 3 picturs in the same reply so I have posted two more replise. See the picture from rt and lt showing many more grafts. Patient was charged for 2000 grafts only, any additional grafts are offered as free. The scabs fall early in my patients because I remove the epidermis which allows a faster healing. Number of grafts is much more. Growth will start only in August, 1-1.5cm per month. A good result is expected in October. I hope patient posts his happy pictures in October.

All Membars, please form a action group of few volunteers and find out the truth fron the hospital where I work in Mumbai. I shall give my cell number and address to members selected by you to look into the matter. Come out of this virtual world with no name, no date given by the patient. The picture may have been a few days later when part of the scabs have fallen off? Find the truth and these members can then tell everyone what the truth is.

About this patient who claims to be operated by me and is not having the same number of grafts or a good growth. I suggest you form a action group of a few volunteers who can visit the hospital where I do my transplants, verify the details and present the truth. Come out of this vertual world of e-mails and pictures and abusing and face reality in this matter. I shall give my address and cell number to the members you select. Ask them to evaluate the truth.

All members of the forum, this patient will get a hair growth and has definetly received 2400 grfts. one case should not make you pass remarks on a doctors sincere work. I have been conducting seminars and workshops all over the country. I am one of the first surgeons to pioneer hair transplants in India. I am presenting my work at the association of Plastic surgeons for the past 6-7 yeras before they invited me this year for a guest lecture. Reconsider your thought about me and my work. Just because I am unaware of following and replying on your forum, you members seem to be taking liberties to puor out the worst, unnecessarily.

The Rs 1,20,000 charged includes Assistant fees, Theater charges for 6 hours, nursing charges, consumables and service tax. The entire amount is not the surgeons fees for the procedure. But you assumed this is collected by me and took the liberty to fire. It is surprising.

I would suggest you get pictures from all angles show the frontal, crown and vertex before you attempt to count the number of grafts. You will definetly count hte correct number done. Also note that not all grafts show a black scab as i de-epithelise my grafts - or to say remove the epidermis to have faster healing.

Just wait for 6-7 months till this patients ahir grows and you will see a good result. DO not jump to conclusions. I hope the plastic surgeons of India throw him out of their fraternity. my family physician was horrified when he saw this thread. His words "doctors like these are not meant to exist". he should start a LIC selling business. Doctros, specially plastic surgeons, are supposed to make the person look lots better, not to prey on their insecurities the way this one has done. Is there any organization of Indian plastic surgeons?

Dear members of this forum, i am not regularly reading your posts. I have done 2400 grafts usinf stick and place technique. This if you know pLACES GRAFTS WITH A HYPODERMIC MEEDLE AND MAKES SMALL PUNCTURES. 3 months is too lessa period to appriciate growth of the grafts. The growth will start at 3-4 months and then continue 1 to 1.5cm every months. Patients take 6-7 months to see an appriciable result. Pleae continue medicines and wait. A good result is sure to come. Apart from all said and done, I have no aptient named Sahil. So if not on the forum you may please reveal your date of surgery and name on my personal e-mail ID drrajeshrajput@gmail.com. The area seen in the picture is not the only area to be covered in 2400 grafts. These grafts are distributed from the front to back all over the frontal, vertex and crown. I am surprised that members have immediately calculated the numbers done and are already enjoying the doctor bashing to the best of their ability. I habe always done the same number of units as promised to the patient. I also stand by my approach to count the units while harvesting. If you do not harvst the required number of units from the donor area, how will you be sure of getting a correct yeild? And once you know how many grafts are taken, you place all of them and you are sure of having delivered the correct numbers. I am not welll versed with your trends of following one thresd or another and had no idea of doing something unusual during the earlier replies. I stand by what I have performed and the patient should wait to see a good result. Never have I implanted less and charged more. In fact as the patient mentioned, many pf these youngstes coming for a transplant have been happy to grow back all their hair only with my Cyclical Medicine program. Only minoxidil does not have complete advantage to ensure good hair growth. Hair is not made of minoxidil, it is made of proteins, iron, calcium, requires antioxidants to have a good toxin free growing environment. Minoxidil prolongs the growth phase and to some extent improves the blood flow to the roots, Finasteride in combination protects the hair. What about providing for elements that build up the hair. I have used a combination of minoxidil, finasteride, supplements and antioxidants to improve the hair quality before a transplant and to achieve a good growth after a transplant. A few patients who approached with failed growth after a transplant have seen new grafts growing just with this kind of comprehensive medical support for 4 months. Medicne and transpolant are not replacements for one another but they go hand in hand and should best be use din combunation for the best outcome. Pre conditioning the hair with medicimes before the transplant can improve the strength of the roots, make then robust and easy to dissect and implant. It prevents shock loss which is the most common complication feared from a transplant. It ensures good growth of the grafts some growing as early as 21/2 months after the transplant. Helps transplants done in smokers and scalps with poor blood flow. Has multiple advantages. No patient should agree for a transplant without premedication and follow the same for 8 -10 months after the transplant.

I would introduce the members to a unique approach of Cyclical medicine followed by me over past 8 years. Finasteride in used 1mg only once in 3-days and not everyday. You see dose trials on finasteride, a minimum dose of 0.2mg per day was effective in achievivg 60% DHT supression whereas 0.5mg had 2% more efefct and 1mg per day had 64% effect with 5mg per day being only marginally better. Finasteride has excellent receptor binding property. I have sucessfully used finasteride 1mg only once in three days to achieve good hair growth with no fear of side effects and also no loss of sensitivity on long term treatment and no hyper or rebound loss if discontinued after long time use. When combined with supportive supplements of iron, calcium, antioxidants and essential aminoacids for buiding up hair. I have seen 20 - 30% new hair growth and improvement in thickness measured in microns on a computerized folliscope, plus rise in the hair counts with just 4 months one single telogen cycle. As of now this Cyclical approach is a good answer to the present problems. Hair growth is seen at any age and at any grade of hair loss. Medicine can act only on living roots it cannot grow back th edead roots. But not all roots are dead. 30-40%Roots that are miniaturized are just dormant. You give them proper support and protection to grow and these will respond withion one cycle of 4 months.

WHat was done is 2400 grafts not hair as was loosely refered to. For medicine or transplant to act you need 4 months of time. This is one natural hair growth cycle. The changes come a millimeter at a time. If tyou are seeing yourself everyday in the mirror, you cannot appriciate the change. You need to compare the old pictures every 2 to 4 months to realise what is happening. Continue the medicines and the benifit is sure to come.

OK. For Nilesh, it doesnt matter, but what if I had emailed him with my actual email ID telling my name and he just blurted it out here. Man, that is stupid. I will not expect it from a doctor. They are supposed to have more intellignece. Thats how they become doctors.

Not all doctors have a "Chalta Hai" attitude. I give medicines before the transplant to improve hair growth. 60% patients asking for a transpalant will grow back their hair and postpone the transplant after 4 months of medicine. I do the transplant myself. I follow with medicines after the transplant. I have computerized counting of hair with the folliscope to objectively monitor the progress.

The pictures posted on my site are untouched and same as taken in the clinic. Most others will enhance the colors, background, uniform lighting, etc to make the same look much better.

Ther are no slimy tactics on my website it clearly states how many number of grafts should transplant how many follicles. This is to clear the confusion that the patients have when they come in for a transplant and harbour wrong expectations. I say these comparisons are alredy there for you to see before and decide for yourself. But ill informed patients can drive a confusion out of every thing. Whoa! is there no end of this types of doctors? I checked Dr. Mahadevia's site. The same slimy tactics as Dr. Rajput. Prices quoted by follicle, not grafts. A look at the gallery and I am left wondering why would you even enquire about him. Hair combed back in befores and combed forward in afters. Stamp size pictures. Hardly any cosmetic improvement. How many more warning signs do you need? Compare these pictures with those from Drs. Hasson and Wong, Dr. Shapiro or Dr. Arvind (I know the moderator doesnt like Dr. A's name being mentioned, but heck, the man does a damn good job). Theres a world of difference.

Pleae do not make openions about someones sincere work for one patient who seems to have strayed off the road.
