  1. hey L'Anonyme, I would highly recommend that you take a look at Dr.Paul Rose. He is highly respected and affordable. You could get in touch with him on his cell phone and once you talk to him, you will be convinced. He has an excellent staff as well.
  2. Troy, Congratulations and I'm not surprised considering that it was done by Dr.Rose. He is undoubtedly one of the best in the business. Cheers,
  3. hawk, You might also wanna consider Dr.Paul Rose who is one of the best in the business and very, very affordable. He is absolutely approachable and you can talk to him on his cell-phone. He has an excellent staff and Laura who leads the placement of the grafts has been with him for 16 years of which 8 years includes with Dr.Ron Shapiro along with Dr.Paul Rose. I highly recommend to consider him before you take a decision(if you haven't already).
  4. Hi Guys, I've been following this forum for the past 1 year. I recently had my second procedure done with Dr.Paul Rose and thought of sharing my wonderful experience with him. My first procedure was in 2005 and I had about 1550 grafts. I have a hairline and have lost a lot of hair in my crown as well. The first procedure which was to partially cover the crown and increase the density in the frontal area and it produced amazing results to say the least. The second procedure was to cover the entire scalp and I went to Dr.Rose's office at Tampa, FL. Prior to visiting Dr.Rose, I had sent him my photos and he called me personally to discuss the results and what I wanted from the second procedure. After deciding what is possible, I decided upon a date and went there. We met up the evening before the day of the surgery and discussed it again to make sure we were on the same page. My experience with him: First off, he is a very, very genuine person and NEVER gets to a sales pitch nor does he have anyone to do that on his behalf. He explains the procedure very clearly and makes you absolutely comfortable. On the day of the procedure, I arrived around 9AM and we again spent about an hour discussing the plan of action. He created zones, mapped it and showed me clearly what he intends to do all over again to make sure that is what you want. Now about his staff. Guys, he has an amazing team. Laura who has been with him for 16+ years is simply excellent. To give a brief background, she has trained under Dr.Paul Rose for 16 years of which around 8 years includes simultaneously with Dr.Ron Shapiro and Dr.Rose. So, I don've to really explain her calibre. Anything I say will be an understatement. Melissa has been with Dr.Rose for more than 8 years and she is absolutely amazing. The preparation of the donor strip, making the incisions is totally done by Dr.Rose. He also decides what type of FU's(Follicular Units) go where. For example deciding where a unit of 3 or a unit of 2 or a unit of 1 will be placed, is decided by him based on your natural hairline and he does an excellent job of this. Laura leads the placement of the grafts along with Melissa and I strongly believe that these two are as good as any in this business. And another important thing is that Dr.Rose makes it a point to vist the patient during the placement of the grafts every few minutes. Yes, he does that a zillion times to make sure everything is fine. Overall, my experience with Dr.Rose and his team has made me very very happy and am sure in the coming months I will have a lot to look out for :-). I will keep you guys posted and Yes, I will post some of my headshots. For all the guys who visit this forum looking for a highly capable, approachable hair-transplant surgeon, I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr.Paul Rose. Talk to him and you will know why he is one of the best in the business. This is a new thread I'm starting and I would be glad to answer any questions about my experience with Dr.Paul Rose.
