  3. Franchis34,

As you might have noticed that no indian surgeon is recommended on this forum as if now..That does not suggest that there are no great quality surgeons in india it only goes as far as to say that there might be great surgeons but the forum is still to locate any.. so i dont think this forum will help you to figure out whether dr.Mahadevia is a good or bad choice because it can't. And dont just hear a couple of experiences to jump to any conclusion but instead look for a series of consistence in the rusults and patiences satisfaction.. As for Dr Mahadevia, i think he is from ahemdabad and i have heard a couple of good things about him but dont take my words as a positive indication its just what i have heard that is it.....

  4. Hi,

First a little background scene: After like millions of discussions over the past couple of weeks,I was finally able to convince my dad about me going to Pakistan last night so the next logical step was to call up the Pakistani embassy in Delhi so i retired for the day with the sweet idea of calling the embassy tomorrow playing repeatedly in my mind...

    What happened today:

I called up Pakistan embassy today and asked him about visa procedure on medical grounds. The guy on the other side of the receiver asked me on what medical grounds i want to apply for visa and i answered him by stating that i want to undergo hair transplant surgery in Islamabad. The guy then started to convince me that why would anybody go to Pakistan for a surgery when there are top class surgeons in India. I obviously ignored his advice and asked him about the papers needed to get the visa and he said i would be need a valid passport, four passport size photos, and an invitation letter form the surgeon in Islamabad. The good news is,i have all of these documents and i said the same to the guy on the receiver but after that he went on to say that i will also require a certificate form the surgeon that i have been under treatment for more than year or so and on this i explained him that hair transplant surgery doesn't involve that kind of pre treatment and anyone can undergo surgery at any time irrespective of whether he has been undergoing treatment or not for which he replied that in that case getting the visa would be next to impossible if not impossible.. I was awestruck with his statement and felt he doesn't want me to go to Pakistan.. Had any body had this kind of bizarre experience with the Pakistan embassy especially with the one in Delhi,India.....

  5. Dr Mohammed,

I do agree that there are different ways of doing things but the concern of the community members here is that your way of doing things differently might be resulting into something unwanted, such as in cutting the donor strip in just a matter of 20mins might transact more hair follicles than doing the same procedure in say 50 mins. It can also be that making quick incision can sometime damage more number of surrounding hair follicles than that of doing it at a slower pace..I am not doubting your credibility or your ability and we all have seen your fantastic patience results but the concern is you might be doing unknowing damage while doing things at a faster rate..
