  1. I have had shock loss for 10 months and wanted to try using laser comb to see if this helps in recovery for shock loss. Anyone here have experience using it for this?
  2. The transplanted hairs are growing in I think but it was just minimal one hair grafts I believe that were placed in recepient area which also experienced shock loss. The problem is so much hair was shocked and still missing in this area that even when grafts will fully grow here, it will not make a difference and I look worse than before I had surgery done. This shocked area is in back side of head where grafts were placed to fill in donor area scar and surounding hair whch is supposed to be permanent on back of head was shocked and still gone. This is weird. I will reveal the name of doctor after a full 12 months to be fair to him. It just shows that even in the best hands, things like this can happen.
  3. Just how long does shock lossed hair take to come back? In my situation, the hair and areas that were shocked were in recipient area in back of head to correct prior donor scar and donor area on side of head also had good amount of shock loss also. These areas lost hair and apparently went into shock on the same day of surgery. Im going on 10 months and there has been minimal hair growing back in these areas and I basically look worse than I did before surgery. At 10 months Im about to throw in the towel. Work was done by coalition doctor who is aware and said things will heal with time. Is it possible that it may take up to a year or more for shocked areas to come back? Any advice or support would be appreciated.

  5. Nah Ill just wait. Ive read from other posts of people that used that and still waited like 12 months to grow their hair back. I wish I would have never had this last procedure done. I should have been happy with the first donor scar repair.
  6. You mean minoxidil foam? I cant use it because it irritates my scalp so I will just have to wait. But thanks for the advice.
  7. I think my original post was to long. Anybody here have shock loss or lose a lot of hair during transplant surgery because this happened to me?

  9. Hello all, this is my first posting here. I have been reading this forum for a while and I wish I would have known about it some time ago. My question is regarding shock loss?
