  1. After looking at his site, and some youtube videos, it appears that this DR is doing good work, esp. with the BHT. Are there any people on here who have used him?
  2. I dont have one yet, but plan to get an HT, and this is also a concern of mine. But what really gets me is that the same people who will give you crap about it will also razz you about going bald. That and the fact that just about every other cosmetic procedure is now entirely socially aceptable.. frustrating.
  3. I am not an expert by any means, so take this for what its worth. Based on everything I have read ( and taken creatine on and off for about 10 years) creatine is not a testosterone booster or pro hormone at all, it simply aids in blood flow and recovery/repair of muscle fibers.
  4. My hair will have to be pretty short, starting at a 0 then fading up. Depending on where the scar will be I should be able to have it about a 1/2 in long there, which from the pic that I have seen I think weould be pretty acceptable. I wont really know for sure until I sit down with a DR and they see whats best for a donor area.
  5. I am just starting this research process, and have found (3) well reviewed and reccomended Drs in my area. I will meet with each one before I make any decisions, but one does appear to offer a cheaper rate (3 $ per graft flat rate, everything included (lab fees, meds etc). Should I be suspect of his quality of work? Again, wont make any decisions until I meet with all three, just wondering. On a separate note, are there any active duty military on here, I am just trying to figure out the best way to get a HT and maintain a Mil haircut.
  6. I am looking into getting a HT very seriously. I am 32, and though I have hair on my whole head it is very thin and miniturized, so if I am not a full NW 6 I am well on my way. My biggest concern at this point is a ear to ear scar. I have been reading about BHT and FUE, and their draw backs. Does anyone know if BHT is done by taking a strip? Like from the center of the chest or stomach. I have a lot of donor hair in this area. Also, are there any military guys on here? I am and that is the main reason I am concerned about the scar, as it would most likey be pretty visible with a high and tight, or even a low reg. Lastly, I have been looking at Dr Ross in SD. I saw some old post stating he wasnt the best, then more recently that he was quite good. Sorry for the long post.
