A hair restoration clinic (unnamed for now) charges by the hair, not the graft. They argue that it's common practice for clinics that charge by the graft (is that most of the industry?) to split grafts containing multiple hairs so that they end up with a higher count of grafts. For example, if using an 0.8mm punch in a donor area and yielding grafts containing 3-5 hairs, they will split those multi-hair grafts to "work the numbers", including financially. Might there be any truth in this argument?
