Hi @DeltaQ
Thx for the very detailed report. I had a very similar experience as you: I contacted FUEgenix first, but in 2 years time he suddenly tripled his price to a price level I've never seen. He's good, but seen the price I won't contact him again and I will consult other clinics.
If I understood right, you also did dutasteride mesotherapy, is that correct? How did that work for you and will you do it again later?
I'm currently taking oral dutasteride but of course it's giving me side effects, so I'm very curious to hear if mesotherpay worked for you. -

Thanks for the update and good pictures, I'm sure that in another 12 weeks we'll see much more improvement. We're looking forward for the result.

Thanks for your feedback guys.
It's just that some clinics offer needle-free anesthesia or even general anesthesia (= sleep like in hospital), but I think there's just very few clinics offering this. So I guess the quote 'who wants to be beautiful, must suffer' is true in most cases.

Try the one from pharmacy parati
Good avice => I contacted them, but apparently they require a medical prescription in English + you have to know which percentage to choose

Very curious for your result bro, the post-op seems promising for what will follow.
As this doctor is seen as top-class, I'm considering to do an operation with him too.
May I just ask how you experienced the sedation in this clinic? I'm not a big fan of needles so I'm wondering how painful it was

Is it possible to get this in Australia?
They e-mailed me 6 months ago that it was only available in Canada + U.S., but that they would keep me posted when it was available it Europe (so I guess it's the same situation for Australia)
Haven't heard them anymore since them, but I really hope it comes available worldwide in 2024

After getting my HT, I switched from topical to oral minox. I started at 5mg, but I grew a unibrow so I lowered that to 2.5mg, and some months even 2mg daily.
After reviewing the literature, it looks like 5mg oral minoxidil is so potent that it also disrupts dht pathways and it is such a beast that is nearly impossible for dht inhibition to miniaturize hairs that quickly.
I am wondering if anyone here has tried 5mg oral minox alone, without finasteride? My suspicion is that the effect of 5mg oral minox might postpone hair miniaturization by 20 or more years, alone. If that's the case, it means we can use a super potent version of oral minox with a small oral dose of finasteride (0.25mg daily), and have less exposure to the androgenic side effects.Hi, I'm using the 1,25 mg dose of oral minoxidil currently (no finasteride due to libido side effects)
After just 1 month of usage, it seems more hair is appearing on my body (beard, chest, belly,..) so just like you I'm also curious what effect a 5 mg would give. -

I have been using the Xyon topical finasteride for over a year with no scalp irritation.
Thanks Hockeyman, that's very good to know.
They only send to USA & Canada so I can't order from them, but it would be great if one day they decide to go global -
This is really a great result, congrats to Dr. Christina & @Doron Harati
I've added HDC clinic to my last shortlist of clinics for my personal hair transplant, although has never been clear for me if they also do Body Hair Transplant? (use beard/chest hair to cover up Vertex)

You can try oral dose of oral finatseride. Like 1mg 3 times per week.
Minoxidilmax has topical finasteride solutions which do not irritate scalp.Thx for the advice Reina.
I tried the PG free version of minoxidilmax for more that a half year, but never saw any 'gains', on the contrary.
That's why I was thinking more in the direction of Lipsomal gel... -
Hi,
Finding the right drug to fight hair loss hasn't been an easy ride for me:
- 1 mg oral finasteride destroyed my libido every time I took it, so it's not an option
- Topical finasteride + minoxidil in a Propylene Glycol vehicle created severe scalp itch & inflammation
- I'm now trying finasteride + minoxidil in a Trichosol vehicle, which should be more scalp friendly, but it feels like the itch & inflammation come back again=> Do you guys see any other finasteride vehicles?
The only one I can think of myself is Lipsomal gel, do you know if it's less irritating the scalp? -
Thx Doron, I will look into it 👍

you're a good candidate, although you're NW5-6, the donor is healthy and strong enough to give full coverage in 2 sessions without overharvesting it, scalp structure is narrow which save a lot of grafts, lateral humps are strong and healthy which will significantly support the transplanted hair coverage, and you still have some native hair that can support some.
If you afraid of Finasteride, I suggest you'll consider to try to topical formula which is less "aggressive", I had side effects from the oral Finasteride, but now I'm using topical with Minoxidil for over 2 years without any side effects, this can assist to the exist remain native hairs.
To cover everything you'll need around 6000-7000+- grafts, at HDC clinic we specializes with NW6 cases and giga sessions for the right candidates, I think your case it will be safer to have 4000 grafts for 1st session for your frontal and middle scalp without overharvesting your donor, the potential need to be checked with a detailed review.
If you're interested with consultation you're welcome to contact my WhatsApp.
Hi @Doron Harati, may I ask where you buy your topical finasteride? I read a lot of good things about Xyon topical dutasteride, but they sent me an email they're not shipping to Europe. So I'm really curious where you get your topical finasteride

Every doctor will tell you to you to wait 12 months and they are right. There's no need to worry, let's first wait for the result you get.
Personally I didn't take finasteride after the HT (it destroys my libido) and that may explain the low survival rate I had. In the end results can vary from person to person.
The way I see it, you're in a good position:- You still have a good donor zone left
- You can even use Scalp Micro Pigmentation to cover up the donor zone if you plan a next HT (it's what I'm planning to do)
- With the knowlede you find here, from now on you'll be looking at the best doctors in the world
So I believe the best is yet to come 😉

Usually I just read here, but I felt like I had to reply on this one.
First of all, I understand what you experienced. I went to AEK 1,5 years ago and had a similar experience: Very kind people who work there that's for sure... But the doctor came in and drew my hairline while my mouth/beard was heavily sedated and I couldn't speak, which was a bizarre experience + the survival rate of the grafts wasn't at all what I hoped for (I would guess 20%). I really hope you will have a much better survival rate.
So personally I think I won't go back to Turkey in general, after seeing other people's results here with other clinics (Eugenix, Couto). That's why I'm so happy this forum exists.

Thx for your honest feedback mate because on the internet most clinics present mesotherapy as a solution without side effects, which is clearly not always the case.
