  1. Hi, Gatsby... I appreciate all your insight and guidance for people.

I'm trying to find a few top surgeons in the US to explore consultations with. My case is similar to yours, in that I don't have a ton of donor hair left -- maybe 2000 grafts... beard and chest still available.

Can you name a few top US surgeons for cases like this?

To be honest I think that you might be better served by doctors such as Dr Sethi and Dr Pittella when it comes to augmenting a small scalp donor with beard/chest hair. There may be others who are equally good but to be honest I'm not aware. Eugenix are excellent in donor management as they were with myself and @Bandit90 and many others with limited scalp supply. All the best!

  2. Gatsby.... Two questions, I hope you can help me with:

    1) Does the texture of your hair feel frizzy given the amount of beard and chest hair that you used for your scalp? Also -- does the hair on your chest appear patchy since the transplant, or is it hard to tell?

      Hey Slickster76,

I don't find my hair frizzy. I do find that when I wake up in the morning my hair tends to stick up and I really need a shower or to spray it to comb it back to a normal style. I do have the odd flyer beard hair in the mix but I use a dab of pomade wax and rub it on my hands then run it through my hair to hold it all down and comb my hair backwards. There are zero scars on my chest and it looks no different. I can't really tell where the chest hair is as I color my hair medium/light brown. This helps all of the scalp, beard, chest hair blend together.

  3. Hi... Do you happen to know of top surgeons for Norwood 6-7 that are in the US?

  4. Hi... Amazing story and thank you for sharing.

My question is about the scarring. From the photos, your skin looks great....but up close, can see you scarring in the face and neck area?

Also, how is your chest? Is it patchy now, scarred, or no?

    Thanks again.

Along my lower cheeks there is a slight redness at 9 months post op HT2. But as with the first HT I expect it to improve. Either way it’s nothing compared to the scars I had before surgery.
