After seeing quite a few not-so-good restoration results, both online as in real life, I'd like to share my experience with Fuegenix from The Netherlands with you. I'm 42 yrs old now and after being 'fine' with my receding hairline for years, 3 years ago I decided to go wild with my beard trimmer and shave it all off. Although it was nice in summer.. no weird hair when coming out of the pool.. it did not fit me. I don't have a lot of fat on my face and I looked way to skinny and aggressive without hair. So I let it grow again. Spring of 2022... same thing... shall I shave it off again? I decided to wait and visit two hair clinics here in The Netherlands. Clinic 1 has 'offices' around the country and the 'sales' person was way to pushy for me. He also advised me to do both front and crown in 1 session. Clinic 2 was advised by a friend, who's hair I do not really like (still very very thin) but thought to see for myself. Same here.. a salesperson and although she did advise to only do the front I still had doubts. Their after photo's are not close-up... hardly any crown results on website. Also, I just don't feel happy with the way they (and most) company's work, where the Dr hardly does anything and two women (earning medium wage) work on my head. They do not seem very motivated. I decided to do nothing. Summer 2022: vacation, italy, pool. Shave it off? I went online again reading. A name that kept showing was Dr Munib / Fuegenix. As I did not recognize the name, it's not a big clinic, I did not pay much attention to him at first. After reading several reviews and seeing great results I decided to sent him some photo's. As I was in Italy, he used my many sent photo's and we talked over the phone and I decided to do it. That means... paying a deposit and waiting for 7 months until my spot came up. January 2023 I arrived at Dr Admad's clinic at 07.00 Even though it's just a small clinic, no fancy building and no fancy coffee... it felt good. Munib is a warm personality and talked me through the whole proces again. After the before photo's and learning that I have a very asymmetrical head 🙂 he shaved it all off. We choose a natural new hair line that suits my age and my face. Lying on the bed I felt very safe and taken care of. Dr Admad does the whole procedure himself, from anesthetic injections to grafting. Never did I have that feeling I was so afraid of if I would have with being treated by 2 hired women... Munib was very focused on my head and doing his job. Not much talk.. focus on my hair the the work that needed to be done. Very reassuring. Meanwhile his assistant joined and started sorting the grafts. When grafting was finished I could quickly eat a sandwich and then back to the table for part 2. Same here, Dr Ahmad did all incisions and starts putting all hairs back. At some point his assistant started helping putting hair back to speed up the process. After some after-photo's I drove back home and started taking care of my new hair. During that process Munib wanted to be informed throughout by me sending photo's, first evening.. next days etc.. This again felt very reassuring and never was I wondering 'is this supposed to be this way'. I had a very clean head, not much dried up blood. So soon I was able to go outside again. Healing went very well and fast. Now 9 months later.. it's just such a difference. And it's so much more than a few new hairs. Very very satisfied with the result.. thick and natural hair, no patterns, no seeing through. Never worries about how my hair looks, never unhappy at the hairdresser. It does not come cheap but the whole proces and the result is 100% worth it for me. Both physically and mentally it's something that bring so much joy for so many years. I hope my story and experience helps people that have doubts about wether or not go for it.. or have troubles finding a surgeon/clinic that they can trust. I'll post the before/after photo's in this thread after I've visited Dr Ahmad again for the final check-up/photo's.
