I've seen this study posted twice in the past few weeks. It does seem pretty promising, even though it only looks at mice/rabbit models. It should also be noted that it is published in a reputable journal. Given the challenges that Dr Bloxham noted above in administering Verteporfin in the latest trial, I was wondering if there would be any interest in trying to use these micro-needling patches filled with Verteporfin in subsequent trials? They may be very difficult to get hold of, but it might be worth more investigation.
