I'm 26 yo with NW2-3. mainly receding and thinning front hair line with really thick donor area and crown. hair loss is very slow from about when I was 18. I'm starting topical finsetride 2% for the first time and would like to set a HT for about months from now. would be happy for your help with few questions on the treatment - 1. is finasteride 2% a too strong dosage to start with? I've been hearing some people saying its too much for first treatment 2. I dont want to start with Minoxi right now, as I understand that any pause causes massive shedding. Is fin alone still effective? 3. The finasteride comes in a gel form. any tips for application? 4. does derma roller can boost results? if so, which one is the most recommended and what is the recommended regimen? Thanks a lot!

Thank you for all the replies. attaching some pictures. I know 26 is pretty young, but it's really bothering me and hurting my confidence, and this is something I would really like to get done. I'm seeing people are able to get great results and maintain it using finestride.
