Questions. 1- A man who wants to conceive doesn't have to stop finasteride right ? 2- And if he does it'll will only be for the first three months of pregnancy ? 3- If a man stops finasteride for all the pregnancy, what drug/alternative can he still use in order not to lose ground ?

But Saw palmetto in its own way is also a dht blocker, that means it wouldn't be good and safe to use it when a pregnant woman is around. 😐

Hi! I'm a user of topical finasteride. My wife and myself are planning to have a baby and l know that l'll have to stop topical finasteride for all the duration of the pregnancy. I wanted to ask if l will lose ground during that time ? And l also wanted to know if there are alternatives l can take during the pregnancy ? Given that l'll resume topical finasteride once the baby is born. Thanks in advance.

Hi. I have a question for Melvin. You wrote in a comment that you use topical dutasteride once a day 5-6 times a week right?! Why do you use it 5-6 times a week and not everyday of the week ?

Yes but yet finasteride has more studies and we know it's safe long term.
