Yes - I am very glad to have stumbled upon this site! That being said it is a bit overwhelming. I am browsing threads and checking out doctors who names come up regularly then checking them out. The only certainty is that I am getting a HT. Finding the doc that is right for me without actually going through the process of actually having the surgery is going to be difficult for sure. As long as I chose a doc on the recommended list or one who is brought up a lot (Pekiner for instance) gives me a greater chance for success I hope.

The good docs are big money in the US. I thought 16500 for about 2000 grafts was expensive but Koniors cost is around 30k. Get what you pay for I suspect. Makes Turkey seem more attractive

Has anyone tried? Website says no mess and quick dry - wondering if this is the case. Topical Finasteride is not going to work as effective as oral correct? Also - what is the best way to apply minoxidil? shampoo? oral? spray? Appreciate the help

Thank you for all of the responses. What does a trip to Turkey look like for HT? Do you stay at a hotel right next to clinic? Do you need to take public transport to and from airport etc.? Any insight on how much a trip costs all in would be excellent or any insight from someone who has done this recently.

I meant in New England in the US. So Northeast US. It would be the most convenient although willing to travel for quality/price for sure. Just trying to do my research. The most popular in our area is Leonard hair transplant associates but I have not seen any reviews on this site for them. Just google reviews etc. they are a one time fee of 16,500 for FUE for front of head.

I understand HT is much less costly in Turkey. As someone who has been researching options for about a year I am curious if it is worth the hassle coming from the states? Once you pay for plane tickets, lodging, food, transportation etc not to mention the time it must come out about the same cost as a solid doctor stateside? Or are the doctors in Turkey that much better? Also, follow up appointments would be costly having to fly back to Turkey? curious as to opinions on this. Im 38 yrs old and would like to get my receding hairline fixed. Not advanced yet but want to discuss preserving what I have left as well. Not excited about oral medications either.
