  1. Hi guys! Today is exactly 4 months after the surgery and I am sharing the current state of my hair. I would say that something is definitely happening and the improvement of the presurgery condition is already visible, however under the harsh light the hair looks very sparse, especially the hairline. I am aware that is still early for a judgement but I cant see too much new hairs sprouting. The calculated recipient area is around 70-75 cm2 so the theoretical density of the transplanted hair should be around 35-40 grafts/cm2 which should look more dense. However, I am still not too concerned as some improvement definitely exists, I will start to worry if major improvement doesn't happen in next 2 mon ths. The pictures are under direct sunlight.
  2. Hi guys! Tomorrow is exactly 3 months after the surgery. Basically, still nothing is happening. Maybe a few hairs which didn't shed are growing and that's it so far. Next update will be at 4 months mark. Best regards.
  3. Hi guys! Two months have passed since my surgery and I want to share the pictures of recipient and donor area. Nothing unusual has happened, the native hair is growing and the donor area has healed well. I also notice that hairs on the temples have not shed and that angles blend well with the native hair. Let see what the next months bring
  4. Update - 1 month post surgery. Donor area has recovered very well as can be seen from the picture. The recipient area is still red, however nobody has noticed that HT was done so far. Few days ago I started to apply 5% minoxidil on the scalp. Basically that is it, now I can only wait to see the result. I will keep updating topic once per month.
  5. Guys thank you for your support. I am not on meds so far, but I am starting with Minox tomorrow. I am uploading pictures of donor and recipient area. The pictures are not of the best quality but hopefully enough good to follow the progress. Donor and recipient area after 5 days: After removing the scabs (day 11): After 20 days:
  6. There were three options: 1) Dr does all the extraction - 1.5 e/graft, 2) half Dr, half a nurse - 1.25 e/graft, and 3) nurse does complete extraction - 1.0 e/graft. In all cases Dr does the incisions and nurses the placement of the grafts. I chose the first one. I will post some post-HT pictures later, as I am almost at one month post-HT.
  7. Hello everyone! I would like to present my experience with Dr Demirsoy, since there has not been enough information on the forum about his work. Actually there are dozens of reviews, however some of the most interesting are not complete. I am 31 years old, have been losing hair since 22-23. As seen from the pictures the hair loss was maybe not that aggressive at this point and probably could have been halted by medications, however I didn't like to play with my hormones, nor were enough disciplined to use minoxidil every day, so I opted for hair transplant surgery. I have to say that all process was very professional on the part of Doctor and his assistant Musafer. Doctor doesn't speak English so the all communication and organization goes through his assistant Musafer, who is very attentive and helpful guy. Before the surgery doctor inspected my hair and asked me about my expectations. During the first contact with the clinic they quoted me with 3000-3500 grafts, however I didn't want to do more than 3000 grafts as I am aware that my hair loss will continue. So after the consultation with the doctor, we agreed to add 2700-2800 grafts to the frontal part to reconstruct the hairline and cover the baldness. We agreed upon a conservative hairline to preserve the grafts for possible future surgeries. In the end, 2753 grafts were added in total, and they didn't charge me the additional 53 grafts. I chose the package in which Dr did all the extractions, as well as the incisions. The placing of the grafts was done by nurses. The whole surgery lasted about 7-8 hours and went smoothly. Below are the pictures before and after the HT. Tell me what you think?
