  1. Can anyone offer some info if they had a similar experience as I did. I had a ht in 1987-Dr. Greenwall in Boston-big mistake. Although I only had one procedure done and did not go back. Today 22 years later I have completely lost the hair on the top of my head except where the hair plugs were placed in the front temple area. Approx. 20 plugs on each side. I have decided to shave the hair growing from the plugs and just go with that. I have the noticeable "cobblestone" look where the plugs are. Is it possible to have a procedure done to remove the plugs and as best as possible smooth out the "cobblestone" area of my scalp? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I was reading and hoping that this drug is the answer to mpb. But just a question for cousinit-the products that have shown promising results in other countries-how safe and effective are they. I am just curious- I dont think I would use them until the FDA approves it. Also what if anything would be the equivalent to the FDA in foreign countries
  3. I would think long and hard before I got a hair transplant. I was 27 when I had one it was the worst mistake of my life. Although it was 1987 and they say the procedures are different today than they were then i would still really think about it. The hair transplant had a negative effect on me and now whereever I go 99% of the time I wear a baseball cap or get stared at because of the hair plugs. I am about to go on propecia and am already on rogaine and just waiting for some miracle drug or maybe hair multiplication to come available. The picture of your hairline is not that bad. The concern you may have now because of your hairloss in my opinion would double if you had a hair transplant
  4. I had a hair transplant in the late eighties-the age of the hair plugs. The worst decision I ever made. Now the plugs are visible, so have baseball cap will travel. Does anyone have any suggestions other than a repair surgery as to what my options are. if I shave my head what can be done to conceal the scars from the hair plugs?
  5. Is anyone familiar with spectral dnc-is it safe with the combination of drugs it uses. How does it compare with minoxidil and/or propecia. Also How are the results. I,m a little hesitant about using it-I know a lot of people don't think much of them but I still would prefer it be approved by the FDA
