Went for a haircut yesterday so took some before and after pics. Its coming up on 8 months since my procedure. Before After

Looks good! I went to Eugenix in August 2023 and opted for Dr Somesh and I am very happy with the results.

Just a little over 6 months now. Have a social event this evening so went for a haircut this morning. Before pics were taken this morning before the cut. After I’m like a new man 😇

2 month check in. Got a zero fade on back and sides 2 weeks ago.

Looks great, I'm 6 weeks post op at Eugenix so looking forward to seeing how I look after 5 months now

Eugenix will provide you with a letter to show at airport security when presenting the liquids/medication. I flew home Delhi via Istanbul Airport and had no issues once I had the letter.

Day 21

Went for the increased number of grafts with the aim of one and done. Hairline was the #1 priority.

Creating this thread to log my progress over the coming months. Booked with Eugenix in May for dates at the end of August. Send over a few pics and videos for online consultation and the plan was for 4700 grafts. Seven days post-op medication will be provided by us. Booked my flights and confirmed the accommodation with Eugenix. Fast forward to last week and I was in the Airport beginning my journey to Delhi. 13 hours later I had arrived in Delhi and as agreed a driver was waiting for me at arrivals to take me to the Ramada Hotel which is about 20 minutes drive from the airport. Checked in and let Eugenix know I had arrived but I got some sleep. I woke up a few hours later and had contact from Eugenix asking if I was available to come in to do the pre op checks. Shortly after that a driver was at the hotel to take me to Eugenix. Blood pressure was checked, signed a few forms and some pre photos were taken (as below). After all this was done I was then taken back to the hotel and got some dinner before going to sleep. Arrived at Eugenix 11am the next day to begin the procedure. Met Dr Somesh and we discussed my expectations. He was happy with my donor area and was of the opinion we should be able to get more grafts than initially planned. Talked for a good 30 minutes about the hairline and after the discussion we agreed on a hairline. Into the OT and the fun began. The injections to the forehead are sore but after that its painless once you keep the anaesthetic topped up. To summarise, the original plan was for 4700 grafts with approximately 1500 from the beard but the final result was 5506 grafts with just 200 from the beard. In total I was 3 days in OT. Could not fault the team at Eugenix. Everyone was so friendly. Dr Somesh is a very knowledge guy and clearly knows what he is doing. Looking forward to monitoring the progress over the coming months. I'm Day 8 post op, scabs are almost gone. Wearing a cap when out and about and donor is growing back nicely. For reference, I am turning 28 next month and on Fin since December 2022. Hi all, Going for a procedure in a few weeks at Eugenix. A few weeks out and I am wondering are there any items people who have already got a procedure recommend I take in my baggage. Have a neck pillow and some cheap button up shirts already. Also, I plan to only travel with Carry on baggage. Will this be ok for travelling home with the medication to clinic provide. I haven't travelled with medication before. Nerves are beginning to kick in a little bit but in a way I'm looking forward to the journey ahead

Having reviewed the evaluation again and consulted with the clinic. Its actually 3500 grafts but the crown will not be worked on. If I was to include the crown it would be between 4400 and 4700 grafts. This makes more sense

@mister_25 I reached out to one of the clinics you mentioned above and their evaluation was that I was a Norwood 6. Their evaluation was made using more photos/videos than what I had posted above so I guess they had more info to go on. I sent them videos of a comb going through my donor, photos of before and after hair cut so they can see what sort of growth I have. The evaluation was that I needed 3500 grafts, 500 of these would be from my beard. This seems low compared to your estimate.. I'm a tad curious at how the extractions from the beard would work, if I was to grow my beard out it would be a different colour to my hair. My beard would be red. I'm shave every second day usually.

Hi all, Long time lurker and first time poster. I'm 27 and currently considering a HT. I am balding in the same pattern as my dad who is 52. I've been taking 1mg Fin daily since December 1st as I had read this was advised if considering a HT. No side effects to note. I have attached some pictures below and was hoping some of the more experienced posters here could give a estimate on how many grafts I'd be looking at needing. I'd say I'm in between a 5 and a 6 on the Norwood scale and I consider my donor to be in good condition but I guess I'm biased. I usually get a skin fade haircut.
