  1. I have yes, most have come back to me with at least an acknowledgement of receipt of my enquiry. Just Dr. Bicer and Dr. Bisanga who I am waiting on.
  2. I'm struggling to contact a few on that list that I would like to, and some others are booked up years in advance. I'm in no rush but I'm highly motivated at the moment so have looked further afield. Sorry I'm new here, what is the Italian forum? Do you have a link to it?
  3. Hi all, I came across Dr. Insalaco and her Rome surgery as part of compiling a shortlist of good European surgeons. She seems highly regarded in the industry and has strong credentials. I just can't find many examples of her work other than those which she promotes herself. She has been very quick in responding to my questions. I wondered if anyone else had spoken with her or had treatment with her, and if so what your thoughts are??
  4. Thank you for the reply Archan. And taking the time to explain. That makes things simpler, I have already discounted FUT as I have light skin and dark hair, so I am worried that the dcar from the donor area would be quite visible if I went down the FUT route. Thank you for the pointers on how to choose a surgeon, it is not something that I am going to rush into and I need to do a lot more research before I decide on a surgeon. I have considered a HT for around 5 years now, and am now in a position financially to do so. It's not a decision I will be taking lightly!
  5. I've recently started researching a potential HT, and as well as looking at different surgeons/clinics I am looking at the methods that they are using. I have reached out to around 10/15 clinics so far (I have to admit I started looking at the 'budget' clinics in Turkey, but quickly put a stop to that after scratching beneath the surface) and I am confused as to why surgeons may promote DHI over FUE, or vice versa. Of the reputable surgeons/clinics that have got back to me I have had a mixture of responses: Dr. Yaman - DHI (using Yaman implanter) Eugenix - DHT (which as I understand it is a form of FUE) Dr. Arshad (the Hair Dr, UK) - FUE I have a consultation with Dr. De Freitas in a few weeks, and am waiting to hear back from Dr. Ahmad, Bisanga, Bicer, Devroye, Farjo, Mwamba and Rahal. Does it depend on the type of hair that I have, or the strength of the donor area/the area to be treated? Could it simply be preference of the surgeon? I don't have a preference yet as I don't know enough to make an informed decision.
  6. Thank you Melvin, the page is now working for me. Strange, must be something to do with my network. Anyway, all sorted!
  7. Hi, I am very new to the site and am eager to start researching surgeons for a potential HT. When I click on the orange link at the top of the forum to view Forum Recommended Surgeons I get a page stating Internal Server Error. Is this just me, and if so what am I doing wrong?
