  1. Your doctor should be running blood tests and should disqualify you from surgery if you have chronic conditions.

at Eugenix I had a lot of tests done before they gave me a go ahead. They also monitored blood pressure on the day of the surgery.

They also did spot tests with anesthesia to make sure I had no allergic reactions.

Overall, there should be no long term side effects from Anesthesia alone. After surgery, you have to keep massaging forehead

  2. Hi @Buffaloboy, @Pukimay
Thanks for checking in! I was about to post it since my 6 months complete today :)

I feel the growth is on track and going well. I don’t have much complaints right now! The difference between 3 and 6 months is huge! I still see thin baby hairs growing and can’t wait to have full growth!

To everyone reading,Please do provide your inputs!

My only regret is having a prominent bone on right side due to which hairline could not be brought much lower :) but hairstyles cover that up easily!

  3. Thank you @AGL77 and @MildSeven for checking in!

    Hi everyone!

Today I have completed 3 months of HT
There’s not a lot to update yet other than shedding has subsided. I am unable to distinguish native vs new hair( if they started sprouting ) as i still had native hair over my head.  Please suggest if you notice anything concerning that i might be missing.
Ps: I am sitting under direct light.

    For after care:

    I take finasteride and multivitamins

I think during this ugly duckling phase, possibly you’ve experienced shock loss for the non transplanted hair. In addition, transplanted hairs also in the shedding phase. As a result, that portion has some bald spot. But don’t worry with time those native hairs will return. And possibly at three month mark you might notice some growth for the transplanted hairs.

I hope native hair return soon :) thanks!

  5. Is this shock loss? I am concerned!

I have noticed hair on my right side of forehead have vanished to a large extend which has raised my eye brow and I am very concerned if this id shock loss or the area will not see any regrowth? Should I be concerned?

For reference, see the bald path next to the temple. I never noticed such weird recession68668b7e-c4ee-4ff6-bc44-11d5054f2fb0.thumb.jpeg.15842c2fd746daae6e9211e148cfd923.jpeg

Also, please see how the area looked in pre shedding phase:

  6. 1 month update:

    Hi everyone!
I am a little late to provide the update. At the moment I am at 1 month 4 days :)

First and foremost, I would like to show appreciation for @Eugenix Hair Sciences staff for their regular follow ups and answering any queries I had post 1 week recovery period.

    Now to the updates:
My donor and receiver area have fully healed and the redness has subsided as well.

I have faced intense shedding to a point losing 10+ small hairs a day but I believe it’s part of the cycle.

As for post medication, I am just having Finasteride and Vitamins.

I am hopeful of fast regrowth! However, I am concerned about shock loss for which I have posted  in another post( after this ).

Hi @Singh1276- This is all looking good and normal to me. I am 11 months post-Eugenix and am super happy with results (you can check my thread).

Like you, I and lots of others) was completely paranoid with the head wash, scabs, etc...it is totally understandable. I took until about the 10th or 11th day for all scabs to come off (4-5 head washes).

I think your scalp and donor look excellent- totally on par- as there seems to be only a couple of scabs left. Definitely trust the Eugenix Care Team with this process.

Any BTW, don't worry if you lost 1 graft, it will not make a difference in the outcome.

I am guessing your final scabs should come off in the next day. After that, just protect from the sun for a few months and sit back and relax as the outcomes unfold :).

Thanks! Yes and the shed has already begun.
    The patience game begins.

when does the redness and skin irritation subside typically?

  8. DAY 10 Update:

    Hi everyone!

10 days have passed since my HT. There is still a little irritation here and there on the donor area. I can see it is healing though!

I connected with Eugenix about hair graft coming out on day 8th while massaging the scalp and they confirmed it was a graft since there was a little bleeding as well.

I have to do my 4th head-wash today. As of now, I still have a few scabs which didn’t come off until yesterday and I am not forcing them to come off either.

I am sharing photos of today. @Experts of this group please do provide your inputs on how everything is looking?

What do you mean no scabs? They are scabs. Just not matured yet.

Everyone heals at different rates. Some people heal and scabs ready to come off in 2-3 days, others can take 10-14 days. Individual scabs/wounds themselves can heal at different rates.

You should spray saline and wash them to keep them soft and not get super hard.

My bad I meant matured/ dry scabs. If they don’t mature should I still do first headwash on 7th day?

spraying saline water every hour without fail
