Ok now Im getting slightly worried...I had 500 mini grafts in the hairline area which ws receding and also to thicken the area at the front of my head which was thinning. 2 1/2 months after surgery I have now found that the frontal area is even thinner than before and that the receding hairline has also gotten worse. First question is should I be overly worried that this is happening and will all of the hair lost grow back with the HT hair. If this does happen how long should I expect to wait for the shock loss hair to return. Im starting to panic and think that getting a HT was a bad idea as its made my hairline even worse! I mean before the HT I could style it now Im brushing the thicker hair towards the back of the scalp forward to try and cover the thin areas...any help/views would be appreciated.

Yeah that was my understanding to...kinda fills me with hope knowing that it may grow back!If anyone else has info on this please share it...thanks

Ok my question is that when hair falls out and it is basically a full strand of what seems to be healthy hair (ie not thin) is this hair that is in a so called shedding state and will regrow. I always thought that genetically lost hair kinda just went really thin and basically shrivelled away. So what Im trying to get at is that on a daily basis I get strands of hair that fall out from my front hairline that appear to be "healthy"...will they grow back as part of the shedding regrowth cycle....sorry to warbble on but it concerns me that after having a HT to that area that this stuff will not grow back...

so are we saying that minoxidil is a no no str8 after a HT.... Does the shock loss ever grow back fully???

I have no growth at all yet..so the question is how long does in generally take for the hairs to start pushing through??? I really dont want to start panicking just yet!!

I think (not sure) that this may be attributed to shock loss. Obviously I havent had any growth from the HT yet but what I really would like to know is, is it commonplace to experience shock loss and how much loss is "normal" and will it grow back and if so how long will it take??? can anyone help or put my mind at ease???

Oh sorry I used Transform in the UK....and basically I have a v shaped frontal hairline that was thining slightly..the doc said that I only needed about 500 hairs to thicken the thining hair and add to the v shaped hairline. Its only been 5 weeks but I have definately got thinnere hair at the sides and front, thats why I thought it may be shock loss...
