Not sure if this makes sense but I ran a simple image analyzer to estimate the graft number taken from the donor. there's some false positives in the area above the donor but overall the specificity seems okay. Let's say 10% deviation either way would be about 2700-3000 grafts taken from the donor, less than I expected. Again, no idea if this is a viable way to assess. any input greatly appreciated

Massive improvement Did they charge you per graft or a flat rate? Could you give a ballpark estimate of the costs?

Hi forum, After using this network to get informed about a HT I finally bit the bullet and had a FUE procedure in Turkey about a week ago. My decision for selecting a clinic was informed by price, reviews and scheduling options. The whole procedure went well and the placed grafts look clean, still some flaking/scabbing but that's expected after 1 week. What I have been wondering about is the number of grafts that were implanted. In the pre-procedure communication I was quoted ~3000 grafts, which I thought would definitely be warranted based on my hair loss pattern. I'm 38 in case this would be relevant. The day after the procedure I went back to the clinic for a check up, and they told me I received 2700 grafts. When I asked how they kept track of the count they couldn't really answer which surprised me a little. Didn't ask them about the relative numbers of multi hair grafts, little chance they kept track I'm afraid. Looking at the post-procedure picks it doesn't look like a whole lot of grafts to me, but I have no idea how to assess this honestly. If any of you here would have an estimate on the number of grafts transplanted that would be great. If you look at the donor, they did extract quite a bit. Almost looks like they extracted more than planted back in, but again I don't know how to estimate this. Perhaps I'm overthinking it all. Thanks for looking, cheers lads
