  1. It doesn't go back completely, but I feel like the furrows aren't as deep by the end of the evening.
  2. And wouldn't there also be the possibility that this is just a thickening of the scalp as part of the healing process, which leaves these wrinkles or furrows due to the lateral sleep position? Or is something like this atypical? I looked at older photos from my first FUE hair transplant three years ago and these furrows were not there then. If it is indeed CVG, it must be a new occurrence.
  3. Thanks! But isn‘t CVG progressive? If it is genetic, is it possible that it broke out because of the surgery? The furrows are very much in the wrinkles caused by my sideways sleeping position..
  4. Thank you, Gatsby! Somehow I doubt that this is folliculitis. What evidence do you see for this? Any other idea? Attached is another picture from just now. The first picture is right after waking up.

  6. Hi all, I notice strange furrows on my scalp and I‘m 19 days after FUE (see photo). They occur on both sides and are more present in the morning than in the evening (but have been there permanently for days), which is why I suspect that they are caused by my sideways sleeping position. When I pull up my skin at the temple with my fingers, the furrows are exactly in the folds created by the mechanical movement. Should I be concerned or should I do something about it? Is it normal that the scalp in the develop such furrows in the healing process? Thanks in advance for your competent answers!
  7. Thanks for your answer, Dr. Rahal! I have another question in this concern: I've used Minoxidil for three years previous to the FUE transplantation. Would you recommend me to resume using Minoxidil? And if yes, when should I start with it?
  8. Hi all, Harry, 36 years old - I'm new here, this i my first post and I had my second FUE 11 days ago. Yesterday, I could wash most of the scabs off and have seen some black dots on my scalp (see attached photo). Are these black dots just other scabs...? Or is it new transplanted hair that still did not grow or that already has shed off? Can anyone identify this correctly? Thanks in advance! Many greetings, Harry
