  1. Many thanks for your reply. Can you please let me know what the email address is, I could not any contact information online. Plus I do not have a prescription, I am from the UK and I do not think the Dr will give me a prescription for this. How can I get this either online or otherwise here in the UK ?
  2. I am in the UK, can someone guide me how I can get this in the UK ?
  3. I am based in the UK and wanted to get Xyon but they don't deliver here. My next best option is to go for topical Finastride (topical Parati formula)? Does anyone know where to get this from? I could not find it online.
  4. I am in the UK and Xyon does not deliver here. Does anyone know where to get the the topical Parati formula, in the UK, which I read has reduce systemic exposure to a very small amount?
  5. @BurnieBurns thanks for sharing the video, it is quite useful. I am so confused whether to start with the topical Fin or go for a reduced 3 days a week oral does. I am in the UK does anyone know where to get the tablets or the topical Parati formula?
  6. I would love to hear from those who are taking the topical Finastride to share their experience in terms of how effective it is and also the side effects.
  7. I have taken Fin (1mg tablets) daily for over 3 years and around the 3rd year I started to feel sever side effects. I stopped the Fins and the side effects disappeared within 4-6 weeks. It has been a year since I stopped and I started to see my hair thinning and my hair loss is increasing. I am thinking of taking the topical Finastride. Is the side effect of topical Fin the same as the pills? Should I try the topical Fin knowing that I already had side effects with the oral. Secondly, if you advice to give it a try which concentration and vehicle will be the best for me to start with to minimize the risk of side effects? Thanks
  8. Is there such thing to get it out of your system and then restarting? Are there those on this forum who have done this to see what their experience was? If you know please direct me to those posts please. want to see what their experience is before starting the topical one
  9. my sides were not good I would say very bad - though I took 1mg for 3+ years and it was very strange the the sides started after 3 years. When I stopped, after 1 months I was the normal me. I did not reduce it just stopped it. Would topical be a better option ?
  10. I am based in the UK - I don't think Xyon delivers here. why is the Liposomal version better? and what concentration of Fin should I go for considering I already showed side effects to the oral fin?
  11. Many thanks for your reply. I had some side effects with the oral ones and I stopped. I now want to try the topical one at a very low dosage and one with vehicle that has least obsorbtion into blood if there is such thing. Which formula or concentration would be the best option for me? I am thinking of going for this one (Topical 0.3% Finasteride & 6% Minoxidil Solution). I am not sure how low/high is this in finastiride. Can someone advice please.
  12. I know that oral finasteride has side effects related to libido and others. Does topical finasteride have the same side effects? Secondly, how does the side effect compares to the oral Fin ?
  13. what I know that oral finastride can have side effects but what side effects do you get with the topical fin? is it the same as oral finastrides which relates to sexual side effects or is it different? can you please explain as I am thinking of starting the topical fin. thanks
  14. I can understand that you had side effects with the oral Finastride, but what side effects did you have with the topical Finastride, can you please elaborate?
  15. I want to have 2 HT sessions, 1 year a part - around 3500 grafts each time to mainly cover the hairline with good density and mid section and some coverage in the crown area . I do not want to take Finastride before or after the surgery. However, after consulting with 4 clinics, recommended by this forum, I was given mixed advice which is really confusing me. As I have defuse thinning and vertical receding on the crown, see images, some of the recommended clinics are telling me to take Finastride for 12 months before the surgery while others say that it will be better to have but not a must. This is very confusing, what exactly is the risk of not taking Finastride before and after the surgery, in my situation? Would the HT accelerate the further hair loss? or does it mean the my transplanted hair will not grow and it will be a failed HT? While I want to have a HT but I certainly do not want to take Finastride due to side effects. Have you been in my situation and did HT helped you without Fin ? any advice will be appreciated.
  16. Thanks for your reply. Sorry for my ignorance and I am sure you might have a good reason for suggesting 2 surgeries one year a part. But what is that reason? secondly , would 3000 grafts really make any difference to my looks considering I have such a big area of baldness ?
  17. Which part of the surgery was done by Dr Turan and what part by the technicians?
  18. very nice hairline my friend. If you went with the 2 days' surgery option, he could easily implant around 5500 to 6000 grafts and give you good coverage in the crown area too. Why did he not do more grafts? I need around 6000 grafts would he do that for 4000€ if I go for 2 sessions? Finally, did he use any special technique or a normal FUE? I ask that because some surgeons like, Dr. Yaman uses a mixture of FUE + DHI (making incisions and using a pen to insert the grafts.)?
  19. I really appreciate your detailed reply and advice. From your post, my understanding is that you went with the DHI option for around 4550 grafts in one session not the "3SE" option correct? if so, was the entire extraction done by the motor or was it manual. Can anyone explain how risky is it to do the motorized extraction for the health of the graft. Is the possibility of damaged grafts too high with the motorized extraction? I think you are right, I should get a single procedure at a fixed price of 3250 Eur; and if that covers it well then no need to go for the 2nd session. The only thing that puts me down with this option is the use of motorise extraction
  20. I have been in communication with Dr Rseul Yaman. I just want to first confirm whether this Dr is recommended by this forum or is that a different Dr Yaman? In the online consultation he offered me the following which I am not sure this is the correct advice; hence I need your opinion on this recommends for your operation about 5000 grafts. the method used will be DHI, will cost $3250 From my research I understand that 5000 grafts will be a huge number for DHI and hence I questioned him as to why he would suggest such a number for DHI. His response was as follows: The biggest amount we can do with DHI Method is 4500-5000 grafts. But we have another option which the surgery will be done in 2 operation days. In that option we can implant 3000 grafts per each day and we can reach 6000 grafts in 2 days if you have enough donor side.(also it's possible to use beard hair in that option). In second option all extraction part will be done by manual extraction tool which is safer for big amount transplantations. My question is, is this a safe option to split the surgery in to 2 days? would this not cause a negative impact on the survival of the grafts due to 2 shocks over 2 days? or any other negative impacts it might have which I will appreciate if you can share. So I asked him what is this option called, he told me it is called 3SE Method I said I never heard of this method do you mean it is FUE? he said the following: It's mixed method; The consultation step will be done by 3D Scanner System. Dr. Resul Yaman himself will open small channels to determine hair distribution and directions. Extraction part will be done by manual extraction tool. Implantation will be done by Special Implanter Pens. (It's improved DHI pen.) Can you please advice whether this adds up and is a safe option to go for? Thanks
  21. Thanks for the reply again. I am sorry to be a pain but can you please give me the website for each as I do not want to mistakenly contact the wrong Dr. Is Dr Yaman full name Dr.Resul Yaman? I contacted him, and he recommended DHI for nearly 5000 grafts. I have read that DHI is not a good option for such a large number of grafts. This is concerning me, any advice on his suggestion?
  22. Many thanks for sharing their website. I realized my mistake, I got a quote from LHC (Long Hair Clinic) not HLC. But 2.5 €/graft is way too expensive and outside of what I can afford. Since the hairline and the incision is the most important part of the surgery, would it still be risky if the extraction of the grafts and implementation is done by a tech? Especially considering the cost as well. Any advice?
  23. I have been in communication with HLC. They offered me FUE Sapphire for $2600, to transplant 4700 to 5200 grafts. They also confirmed that the hairline drawing and the incision or channeling will be done by Dr Ahmet Yildirim and not a technician. I just want some advice on the clinic and Dr Ahmet, how good is their work and reputation? Thanks
  24. Thanks, I have been in communication with HLC. Their offer seems very reasonable in price and service. For example they offered me FUE Sapphire for $2600, to transplant 4700 to 5200 grafts. They also confirmed that the hairline drawing and the incision or channeling will be done by Dr Ahmet Yildirim and not a technician. But I am still not 100% how good the clinic is and whether the above offer of the main Dr doing the main part of the surgery is a good offer - can you please let me know your thoughts?
