  1. Hi guys, I'm a 24 Y/O African American male and I'm looking to get a hair transplant soon. I've been balding slowly since I was around 17 and always wanted to get a transplant to fix it and I feel like now is the best time since I have a lot of things coming up this year and I want to feel confident in my looks again. After doing some research it seems like the best choice for Afro hair is probably Dr. Mwamba or Dr. Bisanga in Belgium but it looks like they are both out of my budget range which is around $6k-$7k. (If I could still possibly afford it somehow please let me know). Within my budget, it seems like my best option would be to go to Turkey and after doing some research it seems the best options are either Dr. Caymaz or Hair of Istanbul as I have seen a lot of good results from them with Afro hair. I really need help deciding if it's worth the risk to go with one of these doctors or just wait a few years until I can save up and go to one of the Belgian doctors. I really want to get my transplant done ASAP but I don't want to risk messing my hair up. Please let me know how you guys feel about Dr. Caymaz and Hair of Istanbul, which of them would be better for Afro hair? Also can I trust them to do a good job or am I better of waiting a few years even though I would really want it now? Lastly are there any other surgeons that are good with Afro hair that fit within my budget that I'm not aware of? Any type of advice or inputs would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to sharing my journey with you guys!
