Hi guys, here are 6 months photos. I am really satisfied with the HT and the outcome so far. It has changed my appearance pretty much, I would recommend it to anyone, it exceeded my expectations. I no longer use finasteride due to the side effects, I only use minoxidil 5 % once a day, before going to bed. I believe that my donor has recovered from shock loss. Please tell me what you think. I will post 9 moths photos next.

2 months post op

Here are day 31 photos. It looks as I am experiencing donor area shock loss. Is there anything that I can do, or should I just wait for things to settle. For the next two months, it would be better not to look myself in the mirror I will post month 2 photos next.

Thanks Jackdaniels ! Today, I realized I am progressing towards higher norwood scale, as you can conclude based on the photo below. Marked part was excluded from the HT, and it is thinning obviously as well. I have started using again finasteride 0.5 mg ( since I had side effects and stopped last year while using 1 g ) saw palmetto, biotin.. I will post 1 month update photos next.

Day 10. It seems as some scabs are still there. I suppose those will fall off very soon. Nothing special to report, guess the waiting game is on.

Thanks Gramatik ! It was one day procedure since 3.000 grafts were initially estimated for total transplantation area. However, during the procedure, 500 more grafts were added, as Dr. Turan evaluated that such amount is required in order to cover the entire planned area.

Thank you ! At the point I made reservation ( July ), the price was 3.250 EUR. I believe now they charge 3.500 EUR up to 3.000 grafts. I was first calculated for 3.000 approx., and during the procedure 500 more grafts were added, as Dr. Turan estimated that such amount would be sufficient to cover the planned area.

Hello everyone, I have finally decided to undergone the surgery after doing several years of research and decided to go with Dr. Dogan Turan, Istanbul. This forum helped me tremendously within the past few years and that is why I want to share my experience with the ones who need it. I am 36 years old, started loosing my hair when I was 21, slowly and steady, in my opinion. The surgery was conducted on December 7, year 2022, 3512 grafts were extracted in total in the following manner : - 2000 grafts were implanted in the frontal third - 500 grafts were implanted in the middle scalp - 1000 were implanted in the crown Average hairs per graft 2.34. The whole team acted very professionally at each stage of the surgery, so I didn't fell any kind of discomfort, the whole process went very well.
