It's my opinion & a strong one and has not been formed lightly just based on my 4 months results. I am Indian myself and been to India for a HT. Been there and done it mate and I don't recommend it. Take it or leave it. -

Hi folks, 4 months completion pictures taken during sunset at the beach...fairly decent lighting. At this stage, I am mixed and not very happy. The hairline is okay but the transplanted hair coming is a strange texture. 5/10. Density lacking in mid scalp, no growth. Grey beard hair only growing. Looks like a birds nest at the moment. Terrible. 3/10. The Right temple is coming okay. 7/10. The Left temple is not good as the Right temple. No growth in the lateral humps. 3/10. The crown is okay. Will give a couple more months. -
Doctors who do all the work themselves
DeltaV replied to cfmhc's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Going by a clinics track record is a lagging indicator which is like driving a car using rear view mirrors. Unfortunately, many of us including myself use lagging indicators to select a clinic. Leading indicator would be a clinic scaling up and should be used. -
No, slit making (incisions) is not extraction. At Eugenix from my experience, Doctor does the Slit making while the technician does the extraction which is scoring, punching, extraction and implantation into the premade slits. After slit making the doctor might go to another surgery or consultations.

The trouble is how would you verify during the surgery that the tech are well trained and have many years of experience?? I was told prior to my surgery that the techs have 7-10 years experience but when I asked couple of them off record they told me just 2 years experience. -
Recommendations for my situation (2nd HT)
DeltaV replied to aykay7's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
I suggest for your 2nd HT that you do not look anywhere until a consult with Dr. Munib. You can select a 30 mins video consult from his website Fuegenix, it will be money well spent. -
Super work Dr. Munib and the temples look great and blends very well with the posterior hair. Sorry if you have been asked this before but could you explain your philosophy for temple recreation. I mean the selection of hair and design. I know you mentioned earlier that they only look good if the hair is grown longer.

So folks, I had a video call with Dr. Sethi where he explained me with pictures that there is no chance of me having retrograde alopecia. Luckily, they had some more pictures from different angles. A good 40 mins was spent by Dr. Sethi reviewing my pictures and videos on the big screen. Also, Dr. Sethi explained that microscopic evaluation of the nape donor area would have given false positive. I only told Dr. Sethi that I wished that we had all this detailed conversation during my designing stage. He told me that just trust Eugenix to get it right. I have allowed Eugenix to post my pictures and provide their side of the story for the community and then we can close this topic. Thanks to Eugenix and everyone.

Thank you @gillenator. Being one of the senior most member of this community, I really value your views. However, I think this is 3.5 month post op picture and maybe due to recovering from shock loss it could be misleading. I don't know, I am just saying this out loud. Also, my barber does keep the nape area short and shaves it off. I just wished that Eugenix would have done their due diligence when I was physically with them during the planning stage prior to the surgery. While I am happy so far with the initial results, it is sometime that will always play in my mind.
