I was looking into serkan aygin for the crown , I know he’s a hair mill but I have a few friends who went to him and got good results. He also utilizes beard hair if needed. What do you think about going to serkan for crown?

1 year update. Happy with results for frontal third. How many grafts would I need for the crown? Should I get it done at Bogota hairlines again? or is there any other surgeon recommendations for crown work?

9 month update. Frontal 3rd is extremely dense and has good growth but thinking of going for second transplant for crown and mid scalp. Also want to maybe get hairline lowered , how much grafts estimate would be for where I drew the line ? Just need a rough estimate of whether I should lower hairline or leave it and use more grafts for crown and mid scalp. Thanks ! 

7 month update , crown and mid scalp still very light. Might need to go for a second transplant to fill those in.

@Melvin- Moderator or anyone else in this thread, can you shed some light on this.

I am going thru a heavy shed at 5 months, is that normal? I haven't stopped min or fin since I started, could it be possible they aren't as effective on me anymore? From what I can see, it doesn't seem like the shedding hair is the transplanted hair, but I could be wrong. Will appreciate any type of insight on this, thanks!

5 month update , happy with results so far hoping crown thickens up a bit over time 🙂 first three pics are under reg light , last few are under harsh light and it doesn’t look too bad under harsh light.

I am 23 , I started thinning around the age of 19/20 and it get became extremely thin from ages 21-22

Thanks 🙏 I’ve used fin and min 3 years before my transplant for 8 months  and I was a hyper responder and got a full head of hair back until I stopped using it, so that could also be why for the time frame it looks pretty good.

My countdown has begun, will be in with Dr Pareja a week from today…already in Colombia (Medellin). Thought I might as well get some tourist time while I’m travelling anyway.

Looking dashing in buzz cut..it suits you more imo....you can evn go a guard lower than this on the sides...tht will create an illusion of density on top...and thn if you use fibres you will rock ...i myself use such trick 😉

The sides were actually lower, but they grew back I got a fade maybe 2-3 weeks back. For now, yeah, I like the buzz cut but I eventually want to grow my hair out a bit more once it gets denser.

4 Month Update. Hair has become much more dense since last month and I have retired from wearing hats! You can still see some scalp in harsh light if I put my hair up but got many months left till final results. My crown is still very light compared to other areas and was wondering if I would need to get that filled in with another HT since I only got 500 grafts on the crown. Also my hairline seems to be growing back and looks super weird if I lift my hair.

I wanted to just let everything grow out at once to see how it turns out but highly considering a fade just so it looks a bit better.

3 month update. Shedding is still going on but have gotten a lot more dense compared to month 2. Should I get a haircut with a high fade to make it appear a bit normal ? Donor is looking like pre transplant and healed up very well within 3 months.

Thank you. Yes he does but his assistant Dr Pareja leads surgery as well if you go for a bit cheaper option than Camacho.

2 month update. Seeing a lot  of hair sprout and get longer but a lot of shedding as well. Donor area has fully healed and not giving me any issues anymore and looks untouched. How’s it looking for two months ? I feel as tho I’m making good progress.
