  1. thank you everyone. from what i read in the forum, dr. zarev's waiting list is very long. I got an answer from dr. Bisanga's clinic and he will accept me. i'm quite excited by his answer and wonder if i should check some more doctors or topics before scheduling a surgery with him within 2 months.
  2. @A_4_Archan thank you. dr. pittela is in brazil if i remember correctly, and it is very far away from israel. i will search on dr. zarev. @Melvin- Moderator if dr. bisanga rejects me then there is no chance for me and i should give up?
  3. @gillenator they showed me some results on their computer including some celebrities, but apart from a few on their site i can't find anything. that is why i was wondering if someone here knows anything. @Curious25 a much helpful comment.
  4. Hi, I have a bit of a dilemma and would love to hear what you think. I recently visited the Israeli clinic of BHR for consultation as I didn't want to travel to Belgium solely for consultation. I was told by the clinic in Belgium that the Israeli clinic will assess my situation and send them their assessment. Basically, I have a fine blonde hair and I am less interested in lowering my hairline and more interested in filling it to make it appear more dense and natural. The quality of the hair transplant is the number 1 factor for me, rather than saving some money. That is why I was thinking about Dr. Bisanga. I met Dr. Zenaty, who seemed very nice and professional. Here is what he told me: NW - progressing towards 6. Density - 65, but he didn't seem concerned about it. Grafts needed - around 3000 and he said I have them available. I showed him an old photo of mine when I rocked golden locks and asked if he thinks it is realistic to restore those days and he said it is a very realistic thing to expect. Overall, he was very optimistic and told me that since there is a small contrast between my blonde hair and skin color it will contribute more to the illusion of density. Here is my dilemma - my preference is to get the procedure done by Dr. Bisanga but I don't know if he will accept me given the density and NW6 stage and if he will accept me then I don't know what is the waiting time. Dr. Zenaty made a good impression but I could not find reviews about him and his work, and although he was very optimistic about my situation I am still a bit suspicious as I am afraid he was just trying to get me booked. I was told I can schedule a surgery with Dr. Zenaty for October(3 months from now) and it will be here in Israel. I am waiting for an answer from the clinic in Belgium, but I am in a bit of a conundrum - if Dr. Bisanga rejects me then should I book the surgery with Dr. Zenaty? Has anyone had a surgery done by him or BHR Israel and can provide a review with photos? If Dr. Bisanga accepts me then I guess I'm in good hands and should trust him despite the density?
  5. @A_4_Archan i haven't taken any meds since I read the results are questionable, and I don't know if the side effects are worth the results who are not conclusive. I thought about topical minoxi in the past, but I read that it is dangerous for pets which I owned. Sadly, I don't own a pet anymore so might start with topical minoxi but I don't know if it really helps regrowth.
  6. Hi, I have completed Dr. Bisanga's questionnaire in order to hear his opinion and start consultation. I heard back from his clinic that I have diffuse thinning and he only takes in person consultations. I read here people saying that diffuse thinning is the worst and usually clinics reject patients with it, since the chances for success are low. Photos were also sent to Dr. Feriduni and he shared his uncertainty due to possible DUPA, but said an in person consultation is needed(though the first available slot is November 2024!). My question is, should I even bother flying to Belgium for consultation with Dr. Bisanga? I do not take any meds.
  7. Hi, I was wondering what questions should I ask when sending emails/consulting doctors. I guess that after providing a background about me, I should ask some obvious ones such as am I a good candidate, what type of procedure do you recommend, etc. Other than these 2 questions I am clueless what should be asked during an initial correspondence.
  8. the thins is that i would like to stay away from being dependent on products and hair dryer to style my hair. so far it seems to me like the texture is so frizzy that people have to use products and hair dryer.
  9. thank you all! so from what I understand there's nothing preventing someone from choosing whatever hairstyle they like as long as it is in line with the procedure and the hair matures to its natural texture after a while. I guess I should also ask this and mention what hairstyle I'm interested in when consulting with doctors(currently, from what I read dr. Bisanga might be best suited for me). @Fue3361 wow, amazing results, so happy for you!
  10. Hi, I am just beginning my research on getting a HT, and wonder about about how you can style your hair afterwards. I think I am norwood 3, soft blonde with a thin hair calibre. I have a receding hairline since a young age but my hair was quite full until I was 21(now I am 33 with widow peaks). My hair was quite a prominent feature of mine and to be honest I miss it so I am contemplating a HT, but almost every HT I see ends up with the same hairstyle(quite short, pulled back) and the hair texture does not seem really natural, it is more dry/frizzy. If I were to get a HT, I wish I could grow it longer and style it how I want without needing products to manage it or using a blow dryer every time I get out of the house. I wonder if it is simply a small sample size that I saw about the texture of the transplanted hair(I know it takes time to mature) and whether there is a reason why a lot of the guys are going for the same hair style and not flaunting a longer hair To put it more simple, is it possible to keep a the transplanted hair similar in texture to the original hair(soft, quite straight) without using products/blow dryer and is it possible to rock a messy longer hair style?
