  1. Yeaa I typically do a mid fade so it could be the way it grows. I don’t have any family history of retrograde alopecia but you’re right, I should at least get tests done to be certain. Is that best done at my primary care or should I look up a dermatologist? also I added 2 other photos from a different date to hopefully show the sides in a better light, flash was on
  2. I’ve been on it for about 5-6 month now. May not be long enough in time for me to be absolutely certain but I haven’t noticed any significant recession since. To be fair, the last 2-3 years prior to starting fin has been a slow, hard to tell recession in comparison to previous years. The majority of noticeable recession was from about 20-24/25 from looking at past pictures of myself
  3. Hey everyone! I’m a 28 year old male currently on oral fin 3x a week and topical min the men on my dads side of the family have all found their way to a Norwood 6-7 by their mid to late 20s, I’ve been holding on longer than they have After talking to several people from their personal experiences on Reddit and other and doing my own research, I’ve pretty much narrowed my decision down to Dr Nader in Reynosa Mexico and TJ Hair clinic in Tijuana Mexico. I’ve talked to several with bad experiences at HMR. I live in San Diego and they are the most convenient for location to me and I have seen patient results and talked to these patients on their success stories. Price is also a concern for me as I can’t pay the quotes that I’ve been given from US doctors which are at least 3x the price of these two clinics. I’ve posted some pics of my current hairline for a reference, as well as drawings that both clinics had as an initial “recommendation” for potential hairline. Nader had quoted me ~$5,900 for 2,500 grafts to restore frontal hairline (their rough hairline idea image attached), and TJ hair clinic had quoted me $4,800 for 4,000/4,500 grafts to restore crown and frontal hairline (their image attached as well, not sure where the other 1,000 grafts would be for that they quoted) TJ hair also noted that doctor Fok may not be the direct surgeon as he is very booked, but he will be there for all other aspects and it may be 1 of his 2 certified technicians. I have consultations set with both, but I wanted to see from the community if you think I’m a quality candidate, have the donor supply (knowing I may need a 2nd down the road), and if either of the recommended suggestions seem more appropriate?. I do want to note on the back of my head at the crown, I’ve had a birthmark my whole life where the crown hairs have always been a much lighter, and blonder in shade than the rest of me head. However I know that the area also is still thinning. I appreciate any and all feedback!
