  1. 3.5 Weeks im currently at exactly 3.5 weeks and I’ve noticed beneath my FUT scar I have these little squares in what looks a little like shock loss could I get so help in understanding if that is what it is or if I should be concerned?
  2. Day 7 Slightly confused about the lack of scabs, was told today or tomorrow to start the process of washing them off but I find that there isn’t many and compared to many others day 7 who have massive scabs sitting on top I’m a tad confused, is lack of scabs an issue?
  3. He did not, I’ve been wearing this headband every minute since the surgery apart from head washes but yeah as soon as I get home I’ll keep it off and try that, I think he wanted me to keep the headband on because of how crazy my face swelled
  4. Day 5. Still travelling home, very happy looking closely at the grafts but still my swelling is fairly large compared to many other peoples day 5s. Dr Soni suggests wearing the headband for 7 days but I feel like I may take it off and keep it off when I get home in 10 hours could that maybe help the swelling? also a question for anyone who has had FUT Dr Soni advises to keep the stitches covered in gauze changed daily for 7 days I know people like to keep their FUE donors out in the open to dry out, is it the opposite for FUT scars?
  5. Dr Soni also said we finished with about 3025 grafts (can someone confirm if that looks about right?) and there were next to 0 4 hair grafts only 1 2 and 3s
  6. Day 4, just finished my 3rd head wash now on the way to the airport to fly back to Australia, because of layovers it’s unlikely I’ll be able to do a head wash tomorrow but the Dr assistant doing the wash said 1 day will not be a problem. Looking now I am very happy I stood my ground on hairline placement. I’m still so swollen on my forehead and up but at least my face isn’t swollen shut like day 2, hoping by the time I land swelling will be down a lot more
  7. Post first hair wash and I’m as swollen as can be right eye is completely shut I look like the elephant man lol. Any thoughts on density and Dr Soni work is appreciated
  8. Operation went well, completely painless of the around 8 hour process I’d say I slept for around 6 of the them due to the meds and the lack of pain which is nice they have asked me to keep the cap on until tomorrow morning for my consult with Dr Soni
  9. Thanks, so as of right now it’s FUT/FUE but I asked Dr Soni for as little FUT as he would be comfortable with so right now I think it is planned 2800 total 1500 FUT and 1300 FUE which I am comfortable with
  10. Also sorry I forgot to mention the photos in the post are in reverse chronological order (yellow T shirt was today, orange jumper was the day I started Fin)
  11. Hello all! I’m detailing my experience with Medispa and Dr Suneet Soni as I have my transplant due tomorrow and I would love to give back to the forum that helped me decide on a Dr. A little about me, I am currently 23 years old and have traveled from Australia for this procedure as my viewing of some Australian doctors work is less than average (although recently it has slightly improved in my opinion for smaller cases). I have been losing hair since I was around 18 but I feel as I am lucky I caught it earlier than some and have been on both Fin + Min for 2+ years with definite stabilisation and slight improvement in density on the crown I decided although I am definitely on the younger side for this operation I have done the leg work in terms of medication to stabilise any extreme loss in the near future. Myself and Dr Soni had slight disagreements in terms of hairline as I would like to go as conservative as possible in terms of bringing it down as I have never had a low hairline (will add some pre hair loss pics below). So far the experience has been fine the staff are very kind and attentive and the accomodation I will be staying in for a few days is also very nice, I will be honest I am extremely nervous but eager as the newly agreed apon hairline is exactly as I hoped, will update tomorrow after the procedure wish me luck.
  12. From viewing the forum recommendations for a Dr in India for a caucasian hair transplant and speaking to each clinic i am heavily leaning Dr. Kapil Dua, i do have some slight concerns about the lack of patient posted reviews in the sub compared to Medispa & Eugenix. My main question is does anyone have experience with Dr. Dua i assume so as he is forum recommended and if not is there any other non forum recommended Drs in that region i should be looking at?
