  1. You're right, the guy was a big mistake. But look at his site now since you mentioned before and after pics.
  2. Truth is I wish I never did it in the first place back in 1991 with Hitzig. And it's part his fault too, because he could've said you might want to wait a while because you're going to lose more hair. I just turned 30, but these guys are all about money and they don't care about the person's desire for a head of hair. To me the whole industry is bullcrap, even the chemicals. You have to take that stuff your whole life. Mollura really screwed me though because he knew it was basically my last chance to get it right due to donor depletion. When I signed on with this site about a year ago I asked about him on another web-page, someone said he (Mollura) doesn't have enough before and after pics, now he has about 100. He used my 10 grand to build up his site, which I wouldn't care if he did right by me. I have absolutely no respect for these doctors, they're all scammers. 3 out of 3 so far, am I to believe number 4 is going to do the right thing?
  3. BeHappy, thank you. It's difficult to be happy when you spent $10 grand and got butchered with no results/improvements. Thanks again, J.
  4. The butcher is Dr. Mollura in Franklin Square. I've noticed how he increased the size of his web page to show many more Before & After's. Aside from butchering me his job came out terrible, it looks as though he did nothing, there is no improvement. Can anyone recommend a good "repair" guy on Long Island? I still want my hairline fixed. Thank you . . .
  5. Hi H-Man, no, I only went to Mollura for one session in May of 2022. The History: In 1991 I went to Hitzig who did the old plugs, then around 2000 they started looking very pluggy so I went to a Dr Vic Loria and he placed about 800-1000 small grafts in between Hitzigs rows of corn, but only in the front. And that looked ok for a while - till about 2010. Finally I went to Mollura in May last year for a "repair" job of which he said he did thousands of them, he even mentioned Hitzig. That is the only reason I went to him, but he did a horrible job. I was in pain for 6-7 month's, he did nothing about that. I had bleeding in the donor area for about 3-4 months, he did nothing about that. On top of all the suffering his job came out as if he did nothing at all, my hairline is exactly the same. I don't even believe he got 2200 grafts, I think he got more like 1000, for $10 grand no less. I was in the chair for about 4-5 hours, with an hour for a lunch break That's not 2200 grafts worth of work. The first pic you can practically count only about 600 grafts. The 2nd pic is the right side of my butcher job that bled for 4 months. If you see me in person my "hairline" looks terrible, and that was all I wanted him to fix.You can see space between his grafts - he could've dense packed the hairline and I'd be happy. My brother said it looks as though nothing was done, for $10 grand.
  6. The first pic is one year prior to surgery, the second pic (of a little better quality) is one year after surgery. Supposedly over 2200 grafts. My main concern was the hairline, as you can clearly see there is not much difference. Work done by Dr. Mollura, Franklin Square, NY.
  7. Big Rome, I appreciate your sentiment, but this has sort of become a mission, I don't want Drs. to get away with this any more, it's why right now I am not giving out his name. I have to do this carefully. Thank you...
  8. That butcher job was done this May (2022) The first job was done in 1991 with the old plugs used in the 1990's. Then in 2001 I had some graft put in because it was starting to look pluggy, like I was growing corn. But that guy screwed me too, because all he did was place some small grafts in front, you can see by the first pic that it looks like I have to hairlines. So fast forward from 2001 to May of this year I wanted that fixed/repaired. This guy told me in a 2 hour consultation that he has done a lot of repairs and even mentioned the other doctors, so I thought he's be the guy,, but the day of surgery he turned it into a rush job and the pics are the result. He also told me that he would do both FUT and FUE to get as many grafts as possible and also to avoid a big FUT scar, but he didn't and during the forced closing of the Grand Canyon that took 2 guys using all the muscles they have (which btw isn't much) I asked him about it, he didn't answer, he didn't answer a lot of things.
  9. Mark,, thank you for the advice, I appreciate your time in putting out that info. I am going today to see if I can have another doc look at it, problem is everyone sticks together in the industry and no one likes to bad mouth another guy, especially here on Long Island, the Island is small. I have no faith in the hair restoration industry, to me it's all a scam and a lot of people are making a lot of money lying to others that just seek to improve their appearance. 3 out of 3 so far have failed me at a huge cost, why would I continue to deal with it?
  10. W, I'm done man... however this ends up is it. No more hair stuff for me, no more surgery, no chemicals, no pills, no PRP and the like, no rugs, should've just accepted the fact that I'd be bald and that's it. I was a bodybuilder too, half of us are bald anyway...
  11. This spot right in the middle back is where nothing is growing in,, but the blood and other fluids come from the sides. Sorry about the quality...
