You need to be on Finasteride and minoxidil for at least 6-12 months everyday as prescribed before making any judgement on the results. At 24 and going by the photos you have shared, I would rule out surgery, at least at this point. In fact surgery could make things a whole lot worse with the risks of shock loss and not knowing what your hair loss pattern will be. With correct use of medication you may be able to rule out the need for surgery altogether. I know this is not what you want to hear but surgery is always a last resort. All the best!

  2. This is a great example of rumors, My thinking is if a clinic does 100 surgeries in a month which makes it approximate 1000 surgeries a year roughly. People are so overthinker that they look for those 1-2 cases where the expectations were not meet. One has to see the rest 998 happy patients.

I have researched for about 8 years, visited every clinic almost, went to Turkey, UK, USA, Canada, Spain etc. I am so glad i went and chosen Eugenix. I would only advise this to new people researching that don't get confused, consult to the clinic, ask questions, see similar NW results and then once you're fully satisfied and confident, GO FOR THE SURGERY.

Hi guys i am about to do transplantation from Eugenix in 2 months but recently I've seen some mixed reviews about the clinic that now i have second thoughts. Even in this site i saw people posted about bad donor management, poor implantation from technicians etc and also i was able to see comments from foreign patients in YouTube who are asking for money back because of below par results. Also recently saw a review, in which it is mentioned that Eugenix are doing 7-9 transplantation in a day so the transplantation team have to do the procedure in hurry burry which make them think have affected the results. Also i felt they are focused on designing a perfect hairline and rest finastride will do the job, like they are not concerned about future hair loss. I know Dr Arika and Dr Pradeep sethi are competent but they won't be available for the whole procedure which have made many patients who undergone transplant there uncomfortable because everyone will prefer the surgery to be done under the supervision of a doctor or by the doctor. I consulted with them recently, now with the revised package, even with premium package no implantation is done by doctor. They informed me now only with super premium package crucial implantation are done by the doctor. This really makes me think, doing transplantation from there have 50/50 chances of success. What are your opinion about all this ? This are all thoughts in my mind before doing transplantation from there. It would be nice if someone could give honest opinion about all this. I'm so concerned with quality and from India its not like there are many options.

Your concern is valid, before I did the surgery there, i had the same questions.

Now, I can assure you one thing, the team is great, doctors are always there for supervision. Technicians are there with them since the starting and some for the last 5-6 years. You will be taken care in such a way that you will never forget the hospitality. I reckon, relax and just continue with the process, it will all be good. Amen!!

I'm trying to decide between the premium package and the super premium package at Eugenix. They both involve Dr. Bansal. The premium package costs 2.64 USD per graft, and stipulates that slit creation is done by the Dr. and extraction and implantation are done by techs. The super premium package costs 4.39 USD per graft, and stipulates that slit creation + all extraction + some implantation is done by the Dr., with the remaining implantation done by techs.

But it seems like it would be exhausting for one person to do slit creation AND all the extraction (and then on top of that, some implantation too). You might be risking a worse result just because of the exhaustion factor. Money is not a huge factor for me here as I would rather pay more for a higher chance of a successful result, but I almost feel more comfortable going with the cheaper option so the Dr. can focus her energy on the slit creation alone and just have techs take care of the extraction and implantation, which I gather can usually be competently done by techs (and are generally done by techs in most top clinics).

What do you guys think? I would be getting 1000-1500 grafts. Thanks.

Hello buddy, I will advise you to opt for super premium package as you only need 1000-1500, I personally had opted for the premium pack.

One more thing to add on, Dr. Bansal Planning and designing is something I will bet on, You will be on cloud nine as she will be considering your suggestions as well, plus when inside the Operation theatre, all will try to make you comfortable. Only limitation is some of the technicians don't speak English.
P.s - The staff there are great, counsellors in the operation theatre will take care of you so as the doctors.

From viewing the forum recommendations for a Dr in India for a caucasian hair transplant and speaking to each clinic i am heavily leaning Dr. Kapil Dua, i do have some slight concerns about the lack of patient posted reviews in the sub compared to Medispa & Eugenix. My main question is does anyone have experience with Dr. Dua i assume so as he is forum recommended and if not is there any other non forum recommended Drs in that region i should be looking at?

I only want to mention one thing, Eugenix is the Alpha clinic (Dr. Sethi and Bansal) in entire PAN India, Nobody has the ability to deliver that constant results over the last decade.
Being an Indian we know that how difficult it is to get the best deal, My sole advise is don't lean towards any doctor just with some research. Dig it deeper, consult with maximum doctors and then decide.

I can provide you more inputs, feel free to DM me.
    Cheers bud.

Month 12 is finally here and looking back there is a lot I’ve learned in the process. For one, even if you are an early responder post HT, that does not necessarily mean that your maturity ends earlier. No matter what, you should always give it a full year for the maturity to set in. When the hair is not fully mature, it is much more difficult to manage which typically limits you in terms of hair styles early on. Density is always improving throughout the year as well even when all the grafts have fully grown. Trust me, there was a major difference between months 8 and 12 for me.

Always keep in mind that no hair transplant is perfect, and it’s important to have that expectation from the on-set. Every surgery is a risk and regardless of the clinic’s track record of success, be sure to have every “what-if” scenario mapped out in your head before having surgery. And know that since perfection is not the goal, be ready to embrace those imperfections, make them your own, and be prepared that 2nd or even 3rd procedures are most often necessary over the course of time. Unless the work is extremely minimal, the “one and done” hair transplant is many times not enough, so don’t sweat the small stuff. Stay optimistic and know that your own personal transformation is a lifetime commitment, so every move you make should be a very well educated, calculated decision that you own and have 200% confidence in. And if things don't go as planned, the "what if" scenarios are already mapped out and it's easier at that point to course correct and right the ship. The "Rome was never built in a day" metaphor applies greatly to the this entire process, so take your time with every decision. Believe me, your mental sanity and full head of hair will thank you for it!

With all that said, it’s time to hit the reset button and start the process over again.😅 That’s a very tough thing mentally because I absolutely love how everything looks right now, but I’ll be having my 2nd procedure done on October 2nd. Exactly 13 months to date from my first procedure, and will have to endure, once again, the painfully long, drawn out process of recovery and regrowth. I’m very excited and have 100% confidence that @Eugenix Hair Sciences will help me achieve all of my hair goals with this next procedure.

I’m incredibly grateful for all of you on this network for helping and motivating me every step of the way. I would have never had the strength to go forward with a hair transplant without the continued support of all of you!

See you on the other side in October!

What a fantastic journey, took me more than 30 minutes to read everything but I am so glad to discover the emotions and moments of joy in the growth journey.
So happy for you, are you looking for another procedure in the coming time, next month?

I have already had a fue with Dr Bhatti almost 6 years ago and aside from some bad placements it was actually quite successful even though I know he gets a pretty bad rap now. However my original hair is starting to think behind the transplant and I am looking to get another one done. I live in Australia and found by going to India I only ended up paying close to 4k for my transplant and so was looking to get a similar price again and was wondering what the best recommendations you guys would have for Asian surgeons. I heard Eugenix in India is good, was also thinking somewhere like Thailand. Anyway would love your input.

    Thanks

Close your eyes and chose Eugenix, There's no one better than them in Asia, some other choices could be Thailand, where you can try find out good surgeons but things can turn into chaos very fast.

Just go through the coalition doctors list and best of luck. Keep us updated.

    Hey guys.

A bit over a year ago I had an FUE HT at Dr. Bicer's clinic in Istanbul. Progress updates here: https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/60525-3790-grafts-fue-nw6-7-by-dr-ozlem-bicer-02072021/

As the one year mark passed and I believe my hair has stabilized, I'm now looking into getting a second HT. At the time, Dr. Bicer told me that my hair loss was too severe to treat in one operation, so I have no issues with that. I am also quite satisfied with the results, so I'm considering returning to her for another HT.

However, I would first like to get your opinions. Now that I have one HT behind me and my donor area is thinner, I need to be even more careful with it.

    I have three main questions:

    1. Are there any recommended clinics for getting a second HT? Or should I just stick with Bicer?

    2. Since my hair loss was quite severe, Dr. Bicer mainly focused on the front area of my scalp, with a more moderate filling further back, and didn't touch my crown area at all. For the second HT, I assume that she would want to fill my crown, but I wonder if instead she should focus on my front area and improve the hair density, or maybe lower my hairline. What is your opinion based on my photos? (see before HT + 14 months photos, combed front and sideways)

    3. Maybe most importantly, do you think I should postpone the surgery, or even give up on it entirely and just settle for what I have now? I'm almost 30, so I wonder if I'm too young for a second HT.

    I'd greatly appreciate your opinions!

Edit: I'm taking finasteride every day and biotin every other day.

If you're satisfied with the results then don't switch from Bicer. They're good in their work. if you want you can contact other clinics like Bisanga, Eugenix etc.

Another thing is that if people tells you, you're not looking good or the density is not that good, tell them HT is not a miracle, it is just an illusions and depends upon several factors like quality of hairs, donor, medications etc. to get a very good results. People set their expectations way too higher after seeing some crazy results and then if they don't get the same results they started to blame the clinic.
I'm just saying that consult with some coalition members of this forum, I've been to Eugenix and can strongly recommend you that plus I've been researching from the past 11 years, so Bisanga also will be a good option for you but make your mind first whether you are happy with the first HT or not. If you're satisfied then continue with Bicer.

    Cheers
