I just read his website and I am shocked with the amount of misinformation and conceptual mistakes.

Not saying the products he prescribed aren't any good, they probably are but what a read. I can't believe a dermatologist would post such things.

Like what? I haven’t gone in to depth reading his webside really I just saw people had great results with him.

    Thanks for your thoughtful response.

Is there a recommended strength to begin with? Is the liposomal formula, something that any compounding pharmacy can create? I have only seen it available in Europe and Canada (Xyon brand).  Do you think brand/pharmacy matters?

I have seen different strengths available. from 0.5% to 2%. How do you know which strength to start at?

And you use it 1 time a week.

Because you don't have sides, do you think it really goes less systemic bc of the larger  Dalton size?

No problem :). I don’t think there is a recomended dose but in my opinion there is no need for anything higher than 0.5%. Dutasteride is so so potent and Even a slight increase could cause side effects. If I were you I would Get the 0.1% but it’s your choice of course. I would try getting it from Europe if you can’t find anything reputable in the US, I don’t know much about the US ones unfortunately. It really does matter how it is made because some formulations will give sides. The dalton weight matters but absorbtion can be slowed down according to vehicle for example liposamal vs just a watery liquid mix. This is all speculative im just saying what I’ve researched

Did you have sides from oral or topical fin before trying dutasteride?

How long have you been on the topical dut? Is 1 ml for a single application, and you are doubling it?

When you order it from curemyhairloss.com, how long will the order be processed and delivered to your home? i am located in the USA

When you say aggressive hair loss, what Norwood are you? Is it just stopping hair loss, or is it helping to reverse miniaturization?

Yes I had sides from finasteride. Lost some libido and very foggy brain. I have been using dutasteride topically for a few months. 1ml i single application and I am indeed doubling it so I can cover a bigger area. I dont know about delivery time to the US. Mine took around 1 month and I live in Norway. Regarding my hair loss you can look at my HTP thread, I was around a norwood 3-4 at 19. I got thicker and darker hair from finasteride and the dutasteride has made it better so I am probably losing a little hair but im not noticing any on the pillow/shower etc. Biggest thing for me is no sides, id rather lose a slight amount of hair than dealing with sides.

how long have you been using? what is the price? how much you apply, concentration and when? everyday? and why you think is a cure?

I can only speak for myself of course, but because of the long half life I only apply 0.1% twice a week. For a couple of months ive been doing that and usually I use around 2ml per dosing. Ive been doing that paired with minoxidil and ketokonazole and im not losing hair. I should mind you I am 21 and extremely aggressive hair loss. I have seen other people do this regimen on Reddit without sht reduction systemically. Im not saying this works for everyone just my experience and there should be more study on it. It costs around 80 dollars.

Anyone know how to ask pharmacy to formulate topical dutaste liposomde? Fueclinic has now the LipoDut what is the formula of this to as local pharmacy to compound?

Hey man, I have been using the liposamal dutasteride from Dr. Knap at curemyhairloss.com. And honestly I think this is basically a cure. You can Ask him to formulate your own percentage of dut aswell. He is a doctor based in Denmark though so don’t know how temptikg that is for you if shipping costs Are high but this stuff works.

@Rahal Hair Transplant - I am happy to post up more pictures.  I tend to buzz my hair down to a grade 1.  How can I accurately depict my donor area in a picture? What length shall I grow it too?

Side note: i have found some blood results from 2019, my vit-d was extremely low, iron and ferritin in range but a little bit low.

Some people Are sensitive to dht Even in the back and sides of the head. However seeing that you Are using dutasteride which is extremely potent, you could reverse it. Give the medication some months and chances Are you could build up a good donor. If not you could always Get a body hair transplant

can you send links please what tool you used for microneedling? how many minutes per day you need to do this? i am not familiar with this...wanna try using it also in my first 6 months after hair transplant.

Hey man, I use this one 1DB719C9-E569-4CD3-92EA-220F1120B775.thumb.png.c77f2b6572e7f6c9d9b6fcde19e3c3a1.png

very basic one. I do it twice a week, no need to do it everyday as you will just destroy your scalp. I just go across my whole top area two times and it takes about 10 minutes. I use minoxidil immediatly after but I wouldnt neccesarily advice that because of risk of side effects.

Just wanted to add that this is not just redults from HTP, it is also the result of a strict regimen. For the last 4 months Ive been microneedling twice a week and using minoxidil/finasteride every single day, as well as nizoral type shampoos. Been getting crazy growth ever since the microneedling so I really recommend it.

    Hey @Mo1brag

Looks like you've had some fantastic results from Dr Pekiner which is amazing to see! I've tried to contact the doctor but I haven't received a response back in days. I tried his stated email, and via 2 different Facebook pages but all no response. Even the Neohead clinic email doesn't work.

How did you manage to contact his clinic/him?

    Thanks

Yeah. I think where this aversion to young guys getting a transplant comes from is people immediately thinking of a naive kid blowing all of his grafts on a super low Zayn Malik type hairline at some Istanbul kebab house and then having nothing left in the future. Sure there are also cases where young guys have extremely aggressive hairloss all over(donor included) and they should definitely not seek a transplant but if your hair loss appears to be stable then I don't see what the massive issue is as long as you consult with a good doctor and plan well.

Here's a good example of a recent 20-year-old case, sure he may lose ground in the future but then he can just address that if/when the time comes:

Hey, the transplant here is me ^ so I thought I’d add my 2 cents. Im 20 and was aggressively losing hair. Hopper on finasteride and hair loss stoppes completely, my hair has also gotten wayy thicker in both donor and recipient area. Because of that I got an appointment with a respected doctor. In my opinion it just depends on the individual. Im probably the last person who should have gotten a hair transplant considering solely the rate of my hair loss, but then again I responded extremely well to medication. Will I keep responding in 5 years? We will see but Id rather have hair now than in my 30-40s.

if it works for you, keep doing it. i used 1.5 mm at the beginning but it was painful not so much in the back of the head but mid scalp and frontal section where the skin is thinner. i switched to 1 mm. there is no need to go so deep. all you have to do is stimulate the scalp. 24 hours later i use a mix of 50 ml alpecin forte tonic plus 2 ml 5% minoxidil  in a spray bottle  and massage it into the scalp. it really helps with blood circulation that you can feel immediately and very tense, i love it. i dont see a single hair in the drain and the hair is getting denser. i have been doing this almost one year.

Yeah it works wonders. I actually use minoxidil straight after lol Even though its not advisible but haven’t gotten any problems from it

that is some crazy good improvement. now all you have to do is stay on top of that new hair . besides the meds maybe incorporate a a daily head massage, microneedling at least 2x/month and monitor the shedding. even though you were very young when you had your hair transplant. i think he made the right choice to get the hair transplant early as he did, as long as he follows a consistent hair protocol and monitors the shedding afterwards. good luck !

Thanks man, I am microneedling quite often but with the lowest millimiter. 2 times a week. Maybe a bit much but ive Been seeing like twice the growth doing it this way so Ima keep it like that
