  1. Hello, Thank you to the HRN community, I finally got it done with Dr. Gur in Istanbul. Amazing experience with a highly trained team! I went with the standard package, which the doctor does only the consultation, design, opening of channels, and some supervision. This is roughly how the process went: 1. Met with the translator at the hotel in the morning. 2. Went to the clinic, and went over some details and completed paperwork. 4. Consultation with the doctor. 5. Bloodwork and blood pressure check. 6. Donor area got anesthesia and extractions were done. 7. Break for lunch. 8. Anesthesia to the recipient area, opening of channels, and implantation.

  3. Hello, Thank you all on this forum. I have paid my deposit for Dr. Gur! The correspondent on WhatsApp is asking for pictures of my passport, is this standard practice? I’m hesitant to share this information.
  4. Hi all, After tons of research and consultations, I’ve narrowed down my choices. Thoughts on these 3 doctors?
  5. I normally do a skin shave with a razor. If I get a hair transplant and it doesn’t turn out great, would an over harvested area be visible when my head is shaved?
  6. But also seen several positive reviews about him. Almost any doctor will have some negative reviews. But if you search on here the vast majority of Yamans reviews are positive.
  7. I’m pretty decided on going to Dr. Yaman in Instanbul. I know there are some mixed reviews. But I’ve done my research and I’m pretty confident in their work. But once I asked them their availability, it seems like they’re available most of August, on a short notice. I would’ve thought they’d be booked up. Is it concerning that they have this much availability?
  8. Thanks for replying! I came across some of your previous comments on Dr. Yaman, which were positive. Do you still consider him to be a good doctor? I’m leaning towards him or fuecapilar. Im not trying to go with some cheap hair mill, but I think for $5000-6000 I can get a good transplant, from a good surgeon.
  9. What would you recommend? Yaman is on the list of recommended doctors on here.
  10. Thanks for the reply. Who would you recommend in turkey?. I’ve looked into HLC, Pekiner, Bicer and Keser but they’re all double the price of Yaman. They are unfortunately out of budget. Are there better affordable options than Yaman?
  11. Hi first time poster. After reviewing the forum I’m considering getting an operation done by dr. Yaman. What are your thoughts on the message attached? Dr. Yaman isn’t doing entire operation.
