This is the only genuine forum I have seen so for. Hair stabilization is now at the top of my list. One last question related to hair stabilization, I have been advised by a reputable HT surgeon in Canada to go for PRP sessions as well? What about that? Do you guys have any experience with it and what would you recommend? Thank you all great people!

Hmm, I see. Just turned 26. Should I consult with a doctor before going for finasteride? And how long it normally takes for finasteride to show its result in terms of stabilization?

Hi Everyone, I am planning to get my HT in 2 months. I have been doing research online and had some online consultations with few surgeons (Dr. Alexander in Canada, Ziya Yavuz in Turkey). Dr. Alexander charges are quite high ($14k for 2500 grafts) while with Yavuz charges aren't very high (3k for whatever the amount of grafts is) but his services and post surgery pictures looked too good to be true for that price. Regarding the number of grafts both said it will be around 4000-4500 to get good density, however, Alexander also recommended to wait for two three years as I am still losing hairs which makes sense but the dilemma is that I also want my hairs in an year time as I will be getting married in a year and a half. So I have two questions 1) Could you please recommend me a genuine clinic in Turkey? What my research shows is HLC, no other clinic has attracted me as much as this one (maybe my research isn't quite extensive). I am selective person and I prefer quality so I can pay maybe up to 15k if I have the confidence in the Doctor and Clinic. 2) Did someone go for the HT while they were still facing hair loss and could please give some suggestions as to how it worked out. I am also attaching some pictures to basically demonstrate my current state of hairs. I am currently in Canada so I would appreciate if someone could also elaborate on total charges like stay travel etc. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Furqan
