Hey Melvin. Can i ask what you would recommend for me if I don't want to use oral finasteride? I just see too many people with side effects and I know my body is sensitive maybe ill try it after i have kids one day. I will start topical minoxidil daily and the fungus shampoo weekly. I am open to the topical finasteride and will wait for the contest But other than that, what would you suggest and what did you do when finasteride didnt work for you?

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it This is the first I have heard of the donor zone microscopically examined. How and where would I get this done? I plan on getting the meds. I bought Minoxidil-5% liquid and Nizoral. I am just nervous about oral Finasteride and was looking into topical. Can I start Minoxidil first to see if I have any reaction to that, then nizoral, and then start oral or topical finasteride in month or so? Also does the i restore helmet work?

Thank for the info. I did consult with 3 doctors. They all said i would need about 3K grafts. But the consensus is that I go on the meds and then see in a year. I am looking into topical Finasteride because I am worried about the side effects. Does anyone know where I can get it the cheapest since it is pretty expensive? Also any positives and negatives of Minoxidil foam vs liquid?

Bernstein told me my donor is pretty good. He said a lot of my hair is still there its just mico sized. He said the meds should work really well for me and to come back in a year.

I booked a consultation with him in a couple of week. I also had a virtual consultation with Dr. Charles and he said my Donner was was pretty decent 6-7 out of 10. He said I would need 2500-3000 grafts which was inline with Dr. Bloxham. He seemed pretty awesome. He said he will also prescribe me oral finasteride if I wanted it. Maybe the pictures above arnt ideal because I just got out of the shower?

Completely get it. Do you think my hair loss has slowed? The top pictures are from yesterday. The following post with pictures are from 2019. They look pretty similar to me. My hair has always been thin so that makes sense. Are there any long term effects of any of the meds? Any advantage to doing topically verse oral?

Yeah...really kinda bummed now. Thought this would be a simple fix when I was ready to get the surgery. So i mean what would happen if i got an fut or got it 2 years ago like i considered. I need to make a game plan now on how to attack this. I cant be bald
