You shouldn't dermaroll with 0.1% bro, only 0.01 or 0.05

Aaahhh ok man - thanks for info. I’ve misread that then!! My bad.

I’m gonna start with twice a week on the topical dut, good move?

  2. Hi chaps,

Just ordered some Topical Dut from FUEclinic.

I'm going to start with a 0.75m dermaroller and then apply the dut.

My question is... is it sensible to keep buzzing my hair (grade 1) until I see real growth? Or just let it really grow out?

    Thanks

I would opt for topical dut or topical fin, no reason to go oral fin.

Cheers Melvin. I’ve been in touch with FUE clinic and will await a response.

Is there benefit to using the other topical treatment of DUT mesotherapy alongside topical DUT?

Topical Dutasteride works for a lot of people and doesn't work for many others.

I can't speak but from my own experience that it completely halted my hair loss and reversed my crown miniaturization to the point of cancelling a scheduled surgery for it.

I still don't have any thinning on my crown. I think it works much better for your crown and mid scalp and your hairline, I have not heard many success stories on hairlines but then again oral dutas doesn't work great there as well.

My advice is to use with caution (once a week) as it's a strong drug and to use it from a pharma grade sources (avoid minoxidilmax). The time I tried minoxidil max I had the worst side effects ever and it's not pharma grade stuff. It's made in China. Stay away.

Hey @mustang - where did you get your topical DUT from?

  5. Gooooooood morning chaps

Been reading an awful lot on here this morning (should probably have a break ha!) about topical dut. In particular, on captain calico’s insane HT thread and his YouTube channel.

I want to start some form of medication now but am confused/torn between whether to start with oral fin or topical dut? Results from members on here using topical dut have been fantastic.

    So I guess… it’s either

0.5mg fin every day as a starter

    Or

Dr Mwamba’s FUE clinic topical DUT (https://www.fueclinic.com/services/treatments/topical-dutasteride-0-1/

    Thanks all

  6. Morning all!

(if it’s morning for you! 😅)

I’m 27 and noticed my hairline receding for at least 4 years now, but more like 5… knocking my confidence for sure!

I’m not on any medication or vitamins etc at the moment.

I’ve been reading a lot on here the last few days and it’s all invaluable information, especially when peoples experiences are real and not just a quick 5* review on Google.

Ok, so… I’ve reached out to 3 Dr’s for quotations and opinions:

    Dr Resul Yaman

    3000 grafts

    Incisions by Dr Yaman

    Extraction by technicians

Implantation by technicians (overseen by Dr Yaman)

    $3250 (£2600)

“Smile hair clinic” - they just said I can pick a Dr

    2000/2500 grafts

    Incisions by Dr

    Extraction by chief surgical assistant

    Implantation by chief surgical assistant

    €2690 (£2300)

    Dr Saifi

    1800 grafts

*unsure as I still need to ask*

    21,600 PLN (£4000)

I’ve seen brilliant things from Dr Saifi; his earliest availability in Poland is from October as he’s in the USA at the moment - which isn’t a problem, I’m just getting excited at the prospect of “new hair” haha!

    Few questions:-

    1. How important is it to start taking any sort of medication now? Dr Saifi has sent me some recommendations from CR labs, which I’ve noticed he does a lot on here too with other patients.
    2. I have a skin fade haircut; does anyone have this style after having FUE and is the donor area visible? Honestly it’s not a big deal but I’m curious!
    3. … opinions on the above quotes etc? I’m fairly set on Dr Saifi I think, or he’s definitely my “favourite” from the above. The fact he wants to use less grafts is promising as it won’t have a huge impact on the donor area.

    Appreciate it, thanks chaps. 🙏🏻
