Yes, I do live in NYC and have seen some great results from the top doctors in the area. I am open to suggestions tho if you have any.

A little background, 31/M have been slowly losing ground since I was about 21/22 when it was first brought to my attention. I almost immediately and for a long time (years I’m unsure of) used minox 2x daily and for a little bit it seemed to have helped. Around 2014/15 I gave fin my first try and discontinued use within a week fearing I was suffering sides (stupid I know). Some year later (again unsure) I started fin 1mg daily again and have Been using fin ever since. If I had to guess I’d say I’ve been on fin for about 2 years now (side free). Since taking fin I’ve noticed ALOT less shed when I shower, before Fin I would notice Atleast 10-30 hairs on my hands while showering however after some time using fin I barely find any hairs on my hands anymore. My crown, which really was never a “problem” area for me, thickened up nicely for me. As far as my hairline/forelock I noticed some thickening of existing hairs but no regrowth. since I never took baseline photos nor documented progress I can’t really speak to how well fin is really working for me which brings me to my question. Given the extent of my loss based on the pictures below how realistic is great result being that my hair characteristics seem to be in my favor as I have very thick, coarse hair. My goal would be to fill in the corners of my recession to an age appropriate hairline I can grow into for the future. I am willing to pay the asking price that the top NYC surgeons charge however I’m taking a cautious approach because I fear if I’m unhappy with the results that I won’t be able to shave my head bald due to FUE scars. I’ve attached my hair at two different lengths and also attached is my fathers balding pattern to kinda sorta guesstimate future loss.
