Hi all,
I got a FUT done two weeks ago and have experienced zero shedding so far. What I have noticed is that all the grafts are continuing to grow. Now that I can slightly rub my head I've noticed it has become quite fuzzy and shiftable. That last bit is hard to explain but I liken it to when you get a really short cut at the back of your head and get that nice feeling as you rub the short hairs. So I compared my pictures day 0 post-op and it is extremely obvious that the hair has lengthened at least twice to triple 2 weeks later. Mind you it went from razor sharp stubble to longer and softer, and as you know hair alwas seems to grow faster the shorter it is. A few things to note is that my procedure was essentially adding density to the front rather than bringing the hairline forward. I was extremely dilligent with post-op care for 5-6 days. I had a lot of density and I experienced very little to no scabbing. So my question is:]
Will they eventually shed?
Could this mean there are complications?
Or is this a good sign that the grafts have taken?
Or am I in the rare catagory that do not shed and the hairs just grow like nothing happened?
I kind of wish they did shed and go the normal route so I would feel at ease that the treatment course is going as expected, but here we are.
Cheers,
