I'll be perfect honest, you need a proper in person trichoschopic style evaluation so they can see the quality of your donor and density after the HT you had. You might also potentially benefit from a donor repair where they can potentially use beard grafts to mitigate where you have been over harvested although sometimes they might limit how much they use because its the 2nd best source of hair to use on the scalp which is why some might choose to go for the 3rd option of body hair to repair the donor too.

Thanks for your reply. I am currently not too bothered about my donor area. My main goal would be a good density from midscalp - to front hairline.
If I achieve that then I can let the donor are grow a bit more is that makes sense?
I was told I could get around 3.5k grafts from it from a reputable clinic (often recommended here in the Forum)
But wanted to double check what you guys think :)

Were you on any medication prior to surgery or after?

It looks like without seeing a pre-op picture of your donor that you have been over harvested.

I wasn't in medication prior to the first HT

I have been for the past 3 years luckily with no side effects and it seems like it has stabilised.

Yeah also think i have been over harvested hence the reason of my post.

Do you think i can get 3500 grafts of my donor for a second HT

all these pictures are post your 1st HT

I assume the HT was unsatisfactory based on your last picture. For the donor area, it could be fine and just be the camera's angle and lighting, but it actually looks somewhat depleted.

Can you share the clinic and doctor name? No one should be dealing with a depleted donor after only 1 procedure.

The 1st HT Focused on the front hairline. The hairloss has progressed to the midscalp hence my decision for a second HT.
It was done by Clinicana in 2017

    This ☝️

Also consider that Dr's pay a fee to be recommended here. Some Dr's might not want or need to pay for this. So for Dr. Gur to be recommended, it would have to be a mutual agreement between both parties. This is why the list is a good starting point but that doesn't mean other Dr's shouldn't be considered. Look at real patient reviews to make your decision.

    👏👏
Vey good point - Also seems like a few users CONSTANTLY  recommend Dr Bicer ONLY.
I have nothing against her  - But there are other Doctors who are also worthy a recommendation in my opinion....

Never choose a clinic because they’re cheap, go by results first, then see who’s in your budget. Use our list as a starting point for research

some of the best in Europe are reasonably priced, you may just need to save up a little. Better to save and do it right, then regret it later and pay more to get repaired.

Is DR. Yaman a valid option still? More than DR Turan & DR Gur?

Welcome to the forum @HairMe. I don't know why you have isolated one country for the best surgeon who is the best choice for your hair needs? I would be looking at Dr Bicer but if money is a problem you are far better off saving up until you can afford a hair transplant. All the best!

May I ask why not Dr. Gur from FUE Capilar/Gur Hair Transplant ?

I really like the results that I have seen from both Dr Demirsoy (over the last 12 years), and now from Dr Turan (last couple of years) here on the forum, and other forums and what they are posting on the FB group. But it’s the real patient journeys posted here I have paid the most attention too. Just search “Turan” in the search bar and you will find quite a few results. Ok so Dr Demirsoy might have had the occasional not so good result, but so has any other Dr/Clinic, especially one which has been doing hair transplants as long as he has. Dr Bicer is another good option, only €2 per graft. So In the great scheme of things not a lot more than the €1.50 your already looking at for the others. Personally i think she’s one of the best options in Turkey, not many can match her years of experience.

Dr Bicer adds an extra 1k euro for each transplant you had in the past.

So if you had 2 transplant already the price is 2 euro oer graft plus 2k

I'll try. Your limit is €5k and you need 4k grafts and you want the doctor to do the procedure.

Only one doctor comes to mind. Dr. Gur. 16 years experience, does traditional FUE, performs extractions and channel openings, only one patient per day. Charges €1.25/graft.

Dr. Turan would be a quality alternative. He charges €4k for a 2-day procedure. Overs 20 years experience, uses an extraction specialist but the doctor does the channel openings.

    Good luck!

Is this the Dr gur that you mean?

If this is indeed your first post, you’re coming on kind of strong don’t you think? This forum is based on a brother/sisterhood of helping and supporting one other. Serious friendships have been forged here over the years. If you’re not happy with the answers thus far, then perhaps you need to revisit your question? We are only trying to support you from the information that you have provided, from your posted topic and subsequent information.

Apologies I didn't mean to come across rude. I do appreciate everyone advice and replies to my question.

I though my question was very simple.

Where can I get a good yet affordable hair transplant with 5k?

Yess I do care about Dr involvement (that why I am here so i can get good advice from you)

No I don't wanna rely on hair mills

I though 5k is a decent budget... Perhaps I'm wrong.

@MachoVatoprovided  the kind of answer I was hoping for
