I can see there are a few surgeons who are part of the ABHRS (American board of hair restoration surgery). Does this generally mean that they will do a good job and are well regarded in the industry or can it often be misleading?

I'm thinking of going ahead with a hair transplant with Dr Mark Tam. He seems to have won numerous awards for his work and seemed very knowledgeable during the consultation. Just wondered if anyone had any experience of him/could recommend his work or alternatively had bad experiences or any other general info to be aware of? Thanks a lot
