  1. I'm referring to those amongst us who were destined to be fully bald by their late twenties. I started Fin at 17 and eventually switched to Dut and will be 22 this year. It's hard to say whether I'm below baseline compared to nearly 5 years ago however the fact that it is so difficult to tell leads me to believe that I have either maintained or barely lost more hair over these years so that's good. I do wonder whether Dut and oral min will be able to fend off my NW 6-7 by age 25 genetics until I'm 30 and there are better treatments around. It makes me anxious about the future.

Anyone know if this is definitely 100% legal and OK to buy from the UK? From an import point of view I mean.

At the moment it seems to be available from one site which I'm guessing is based somewhere in Europe and sells it euros.

    I am aware from articles:

"Bioneer announced on the 2nd that it has recently completed product registration with SCPN (Submit a Cosmetic Product Notification, British Cosmetics Certification Portal) following CPNP registration (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal, European cosmetic certification portal) at the end of last year.

SCPN registration is a necessary procedure for the distribution and sale of cosmetics in the UK, and requirements such as the mandatory designation of a Responsible Person (RP) in the UK and the evaluation of product safety by a qualified person in the UK strict."

From this above it would seem likely the product should get through customs just fine as its all above board and legally approved here.

I've ordered oral min from grey market pharmacies to the UK and even that is legal so long as it is for personal use. Never had a problem with customs. They won't care about a cosmeceutical.

Every 2 to 3 weeks. Never come close to "blown off". My annual system cost £320 + £40 for products. I have a 6-inch piece which I get cut in

My supplier does lengths up to 26 inches in those styles and ships worldwide when I lived abroad.

Nice, I saw you wrote you use UKhairsystems. Good to know they ship worldwide too. Can I ask how often you get a new system? Not sure I read that right but I didn't think one system could last you a whole year whilst continuing to look good.

Never in public, but it was loosen and precarious after a nights sleep once and it was my own fault - thats once in many many years of wearing. The tapes and glues are very secure

How often do you have to replace or retape/reglue it to ensure it won't blow if you go surfing or something? Trying to figure out the yearly cost of this. Is it possible to get longer/shoulder length systems, like women's wigs but more unstyled e.g. Keanu Reeves?

oh wow, i was going to start with 5mg but maybe i’ll start with 2.5mg instead or even 1.25

It didn't turn me into a werewolf, it just thickened my body hair a bit and my temple hairs started growing a lot closer to my eyebrows lol. Even at 2.5mg you will probably experience that. Unless you really dislike body hair I wouldn't worry about it too much. I dislike body hair but shaving my body with an electric shaver every 2-3 weeks doesn't take too long.

How long after taking your medication did you have an alcoholic drink?

Took my oral minoxidil at 14:45, maximal effect on blood pressure occurs 2-3 hours after administration. Had no issues then. Had a drink (1.3 UK units) some time after 20:00, experienced those side effects after it metabolised.

  7. Even after lowering my dose from 5mg to 2.5mg, I had one alcoholic drink today and my blood pressure lowered and heart rate went above 100. It is still thereabouts. I will probably lower to 1.25mg now. This is really unfortunate, I do not want to stop the drug. It's thickend my hair a bit, nothing miraculous. However I also like the eyelash and eyebrow darkening.

Personally i wasn't fully on board with the tablet version of Oral Minoxidil because of the possibility of increased side affects, but it does seem more effective for sure and i figured you could laser hair remove if you get trichosis.

I still am not planning to take Minoxodil just yet as i feel i am okay with just Dutasteride and then will leave Minoxodil in the back pocket. I think tablets are easier for adherence purposes though vs topical application 2x a day. Plus, i'm pretty sure Microneedling can be just as effective with both topical or oral versions.

Recently the site i use to buy my Dutasteride has started selling 2.5mg Oral Minoxidil Loniten tablets for like £30, so there's no need to go grey market or the more expensive places like doctors in the UK that were ripping you off £150+.

Overall though, if Finasteride/Dutasteride thinned my body hair out, i have a feeling using Oral Minoxodil would just basically reverse that lol.

I believe you are talking about Oxford Online Pharmacy, they require you post them a private prescription for Oral Minoxidil - they won't write you one themselves as they do with Dutasteride. Easiest way to obtain it right now is through Manual, they usually charge about £80 for three months however if you look out for their discount codes you can get it for £40.

At the moment I am trying to find the cheapest way to get a private script to get it from Oxford Online Pharmacy.
