I stayed at Le Chatelain Brussels Hotel. Definitely recommend it. The only thing I will say is the food was pricey $30 euros per meal). But great service.

I was a tad bit nervous bc its a 10 minute walk for Mwamba's office, I thought that was going to seem far a walk for post-surgery. But its not far at all. No difference really between a hotel thats 2 minutes away and one thats 10 minutes away.

Did the doctor end up providing transportation after the surgery to your hotel nearby or did you just walk?

    Sure,

I highly recommend B&B HOTEL Brussels Centre Louise, it’s only 5 minutes walking from the clinic and definitely the best price/quality option. Rooms are amazing, big, clean, modern and very nice decorated.

Great, thanks. Did the doctor provide transportation to and from the hotel/ clinic right after the surgery? Or did you have to walk late at night after surgery?

Yeah 6-8 is fine.  I'll def look into a consult with Mwamba, but did you pay a VAT on the procedure?   Did you do it after the changes to VAT on hair implants?  It supposed to go down from 21% to 6%(jan 2022 onward).   Was his price still competitive vs Pinto or Freitas with VAT?

Is the VAT decrease for surgeries as well? I saw that it was a temporary decrease for electricity

This is really interesting, so its not really VAT refund, you simply pay 0% tax for this proccedure. I wonder in what part of the Belgian tax law is this mentioned? Sounds weird ngl. I guess all responsibility falls on Bisanga to justify to the authorities that no tax was paid then.

Did you ever reach out to mwamba to see if you could get your VAT money back. You paid a lot of money on VAT.

I have a transplant in a few months and would like to see if anyone else was able to get VAT refunded or had 0% VAT for their surgery with Mwamba

Can you please tell me specifically what the note says? Do you present it to customs at the airport as you are departing back home?

Or can you explain the process in more detail?

Coincidentally enough im seeing my primary care doc on Monday for a routine physical, I can ask him to write a note then

Did you talk about the VAT refund or 0% VAT with Dr Mwamba and his assistants? I just would like to see if you were able to get a refund since you already had your surgery this month

  6. Do you remember if you were given large liquid medication bottles from the doctor? I am getting a transplant from Mwamba and I'm just curious to see if the liquid medication would be able to go through security in my carry on luggage. Did you have any trouble with that?

Also did you have technicians shampoo your head the next day after the surgery? I was told that it could be an option. Did you use baby shampoo to  shampoo your head the next few days?

I recently got back from Brussels after a procedure with Mwamba

-Get there a day or so early so you can tour the city. Brussels is small enough you only need 1 full day to walk around and see all the major attractions. I didn't even need to take the subway

-Get a nice hotel that hopefully has room service. I just ordered room service for all my meals that were not at Mwamba's office

Great advice. I am having surgery with Mwamba in Brussels too in a few months. How did you move around Brussels without using the subway system? Is Brussels so small that you just walked around?

Would you recommend the hotel that you stayed at to others? What was the hotel?

I also think that dr mwamba stay to much time before extraction and implantation and the grafts are outside the body to much time, this is not good. I did my 3 rd transplant with them and this is my opinion. At my first 2 transplants after extraction the grafts were implanted in a short time.

How did your surgery with Dr Mwamba go? Do you have afro hair?
