  1. I had hair transplant at Eugenix 9 montsh ago and am now facing a problem I did not had before. What fibres should I pick for for my new photo on my documents :)

When I was reading this forum in past people mentioned Toppik a lot, but I did not put that much interest in back then so I might miss some better solutions.  I see Toppik is a powder, is there anything more like wax or, ...  Please help.

  2. There are rare clinics where doctors insert grafts. Usually technicians do it. In Eugenix that is always done by technicians. When you chose Arika or Sethi you are promised to get most experienced technicians. But in practice technicians change a lot, what is sort of normal, since no one can work 12 hours and more. So at some time there was 2 technicians working and at other moment there was 5. I believe you can go with Dr Das and save some money. I am sure all technicians work at some standard.

I am confused. So is it 20 mins or couple of hours?

He said that general consensus is that grafts can be out for few hours. Eugenix does it faster. There are always at least 3 technicians extracting sorting and puting back grafts. Noone laying on the table can tell you how long each graft had been outside.

  4. I don't think you should bother with triples and doubles much. That is just stats. Arika or whoever will be in charge of your surgery will just look at your donor area in person and took final decision how many grafts will be needed. She will also place your hair line height considering that.  In my case i had planed 2 transplants and on first crown would be left intact. But when she saw Mt donor area she immediately said only one surgery will be needed.  Also she will draw your temples if needed and if your donor area slows it. Trust them. Your job will be only to lay there for two day. It will not be so easy. So I hope you are doing some back strechings exercises.

Another thing. Be ready for New Delhi climate change and polluted air. I felt sick on the airport. Stay hidrated on airplane before landing.

yeah iv already emailed a number of the recommended surgeons, several times now, none of them seem to reply.

Last November when I contacted Eugenix, Bicer and Pekiner. Each of them took long to reply. There is a reason for that. They are good and that is why they are busy. I know you are probably, the same way as I was, anctious and want to start with it fast, but I suggest you to go slow, since few months will not change anything. Your priority right now should be to get on finasteride, unless you are on it allready. You should not have surgery, before you are at least half a year on finestaride, from two simple reasons. Maybe you will get side effects and you will not be able to continue to take them or finasteride will do little results to you. I have no ideas how big chances are for that, but why risk it if you can just wait half year and see.

Then wait for clinic replies. Once you are in the system things will move fast.

  6. Ha. I am now in India. Two days after transplant and reading this and noticed I replied in November soon after you made this thread. It seems you are one of the reasons I am here. When I read it again today, I realized how good and accurate post you made. Making slits does not hurt a bit. When Arika started making them I first thought she is just taping my head a bit with her finger, sort of meditating to observe the shape of my had and think how to start. Only after few minutes I realized she probably allready did 100 slits.

    You got good results!

  7. I will be there next week. And yes, the original agent was way more knowable than the second one. I suppose they are paid very different. I did not checked much this forum last months, but today noticed one bad review of Eugenix. I think you should not be worried that much. They are still good clinic.

I do hope you will write more in next days. Can you ask them how many patients will Arika manage at the time you will be there.

After I sent them photos they were pretty quick to reply. Once the dates were confirmed they were very responsive. If you're not providing full details on your situation as well as solid photos for their Drs to assess they may take time getting back to you. They have a ton of questions and consultation requests coming in. What info did you provide?

I had not got to the pictures or any details yet. Just put the basics in the contact form on Sunday.

  9. What about Dr. Beyhan Zeybek's clinic?  She seems a bit old style. But what do I know. She also does BHT. Website also says she does one patient a day.

    2 day session +/- 4000 grafts  = 5k eur

    Combo FUE / FUT 2 days +/- 5500 grafts  = 6k eur

Anyone have any experiences with here?  I would probably need another 2 days sessions a year latter. I imagine is better to go with two even sessions then one mega session and one small one.

PS: I am mainly reading Eugenix  posts but still dreaming of surgery in Turkey :P

@pomloe Yes I have them all on my list I made yesterday, I am just afraid they might have long waiting lines, since are quite popular on this forum.

@JC71 Turkey should have good hair transplant doctors cheap. It is also not so far from central europe, so if world collapse I could still walk home in couple of weeks time. I could not do that from India. But I will definitely check more about Eugenix.

  11. Hello everyone. I am new on this forum. And also quite new to search for hair transplant clinic. Last week i gathered few clinics I thought would be decent in Turkey. I did not wanted all to be cheap or focus on something. Just a regular search and hoped to get legit clinics. When I got on this forum I noticed that no one talks of none of them, but people mostly recommend some other clinics and doctors. I put all those recommended on this forum on a list and will start contacting them next week. But I am sort of worried if they will have vacancies. They all seems popular. Anyway I would like some friendly forum experts on Turkish clinic to tell me if any clinic of my original list is worth to contact:

Sanantur Clinic                                                      Dr. Mbaraka Ahmed Ljohiy
    Cosmedica                                                             Dr. Levent Acar
Best hair clinic                                                       Dr. Oyku Celen
    Transmed klinik                                                     Dr. Melike Külahçı
    AHD hair clinic                                                       Dr.Hakan Doganay
Civas Hair Transplant                                            Dr. Ekrem Civas
DrT Hair Transplant clinic                                      Dr. Tayfun Oguzoglu
Kayihan Sahinoglu Hair Transplant Clinic             Prof. Dr. Kayihan Sahinoglu
    DR.Bayer Clinics                                                     Dr.Yetkin Bayer

I am not doing any advertisement or anything for this websites. If is against rules please let me know. They are just links to websites of doctors/clinics that I originally found and they seemed legit to a hair transplant noob.

Oh, I will probably need more then one procedure. I am 43 years old and my baldness is somewhere 6-7 northwald or how is called that scale. I suspect my donor area is decent and as i see that neck and chest hairs can be used I have much more hope that eventually my hair could look decent.
